Your Itinerary —
Day 1 - Sunday
Civitavecchia, Italy - Depart 17:00
The port city of Civitavecchia lies about an hour from Italy's capital and is where your MSC luxury cruise liner will dock before taking lucky cruise holiday-makers to the city of Rome.
Palermo, Italy - Arrive 13:00 - Depart 19:00
Palermo is the capital of the Italian island, Sicily, an island renowned as a vacation destination due to its great beauty and historical significance. Once an important Mediterranean centre, Palermo still displays the grandeur of its former greatness. Leave the ship in Palermo's port and journey back in time; visit Agrigento and the 'Valley of the Temples', one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and a UNESCO heritage site since 1998.
La Goulette, Tunisia - Arrive 08:00 - Depart 14:00
African and Arabic hospitality await you in exotic Tunis, on the coast of North Africa.
Tunis, the capital of Tunisia, actually consists of three cities: the modern Capital City of the Tunisian Republic, with its wide streets, skyscrapers and busy sidewalk cafes; the Arabic Medina (Old Town) from the Middle Ages, an exciting labyrinth laden with secrets, narrow alleyways, small shops, huge mosques and palaces and finally Carthage, the ancient Phoenician - Roman city, which lies 18 km from the city.
Palma de Mallorca, Spain - Arrive 15:00 - Depart 23:59
Welcome to Majorca, the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands and home to the delightful city of Palma, one of the Mediterranean's premier cruise ports.
Palma sits on a magnificent bay that provides a natural harbour for the hundreds of expensive yachts that moor here and the dozens of elegant cruise liners that come to call. The yachts are polished to a mirror finish and seem to wait expectantly for their wealthy owners to take them out for a spin, whilst the cruise ships are altogether busier, bringing thousands of passengers into the this lovely cosmopolitan city.
Valencia, Spain - Arrive 09:00 - Depart 14:30
Valencia is third biggest city in Spain and although it boasts many great historic, cultural and modern visitor attractions, Valencia is one of the least touristic cities in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula.
It is the home of the rice dish paella, one of the most spectacular fiestas in Spain and (reputedly) the Holy Grail from which Jesus drank at the Last Supper. We are sure you'll be pleasantly surprised by Valencia and the warm, inviting character of its inhabitants.
Marseille, France - Arrive 13:00 - Depart 20:00
Whether it's basking in the Mediterranean sunshine or being cooled by the famous Mistral wind France's second largest city and the capital of the Provence-Côte d'Azur region, is always a fascinating place to visit and a wonderful place for a leisurely lunch.
As France's most important port, Marseille boasts connections with Africa, Italy and Spain. The strong mistral wind blows away all traces of pollution and provides a clarity of air so pure that many famous artists have been attracted to the city: Cézanne; Braque; Derain; Dufy and Marquet.
Genoa, Italy - Arrive 09:00 - Depart 18:00
Cradled between land and sea and with a working port, the Italian vacation destination of Genoa on the west coast of Italy displays its past through her many palaces and the surrounding ancient terraced hills.
Genoa has many different faces; at once a modern metropolis and a rigorous custodian of artistic heritage, as well as an industrious marketplace with centuries-old parks perfect for relaxation. She hides her riches in an historical centre that looks traditionally seaward yet at the same time exhibits a new beauty achieved by restoring the splendour of ages past.
Day 7 - Sunday
Civitavecchia, Italy - Arrive 07:00
Your Ship —
This offer is based on a full board stay.
Unveiled in the celebratory style that has become MSC's hallmark, MSC Preziosa was launched in Genoa on 23rd March 2013. Naturally, being an MSC cruise ship, she is more than just another run-of-the-mill, 'designed by focus groups' kind of vessel – perish the thought! Instead she is a unique ship delivering her own individual interpretation on the fine art of Mediterranean cruising.
There's a dreamy infinity pool and even a retractable roof on one of the main pools, so the weather doesn't spoil your fun. For sun-worshippers looking for peace and tranquillity the Top 18 area dedicates premium deck space and stunning sea views to adults who'll appreciate its dedicated spa service, bar menu and complimentary fruit skewers.
Below decks the award-winning MSC Aurea Spa offers beauty and wellness treatments that will sooth away the tensions of everyday life, whilst the high end luxury of MSC Yacht Club's exclusive suites, butler service, dedicated facilities and private decks remain the toast of luxury cruising.
Naturally we could tell you more about the bars and lounges, about the Sports Bar and Diner with its bowling alley and F1 simulator, about the restaurants like Eataly where the best of Italian cuisine can be sampled in a sophisticated, minimalist environment or the exclusive Ristorante Italia, where a seriously upscale menu is available every night. But, with so much to tell you about, we thought we’d leave some things for you to discover yourself.
