Your Destinations —
Hvar: One of the most striking of the Croatian island towns, Hvar offers a number of lively bars and excellent seafood restaurants. The old lands are truly mesmerising, with character-filled walkways and quaint souvenir stands. Sunset offers fantastic views and a perfect opportunity to enjoy one of the many pavement cafes.
Korcula: A pretty collection of traditional houses, old churches and cobbled streets enveloped by a thick stone wall all contribute to Korcula Town, which is widely regarded as one of the most attractive settlements in Europe. There is plenty to explore in the area and a wonderful range of seafood restaurants.
Dubrovnik: Within the old walls of Dubrovnik lies a UNESCO World Heritage site. This area offers exquisite architecture with an array of highlights, including the Sponza Palace, the Rector's Palace, St Blaisius Church and the Franciscan Monastery. Remember to explore the quieter shaded streets, which promise traditional buildings and an authentic atmosphere.
Mljet: Mljet is a beautiful island, complete with thriving vegetation. It offers the fantastic Mljet National Park, which features breathtaking scenery, mountains, waterfalls, lakes and islands.
Your Itinerary —
DAY 1: UK - DUBROVNIK
Fly to Dubrovnik where you will be met and transferred to your cruise ship for embarkation.
Today, you can choose to book a walking or explore medieval Dubrovnik on your own. Standing on an outcrop in the sparkling Adriatic, this UNESCO-listed gem is one of the most beautiful spots on earth, thanks to its sturdy walls, shimmering marble streets and shining townhouses. Your tour focuses on its highlights, including the exquisite Rector's Palace and 14th century Franciscan Monastery with its old pharmacy, one of the world's oldest. The rest of the day is at leisure.
At 2pm your ship will depart for the island of Korcula with a stop along the way to swim, cool off and relax, followed lunch on board. Korčula is acclaimed birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo and the ship will dock overnight so you can properly explore this gorgeous isle follow by some traditional Croatian cuisine at one of the local restaurants of your choice.
After breakfast you can maybe book the walking tour of Korčula or to walk around on your own. Later in the morning set sails for Makarska on the mainland where you can enjoy a pleasant sea-front walk. Lunch on board. Then continue to Pučišća on Brač Island for an overnight stay. Enjoy a swim in one of Brač’s many lovely coves and bays. Dine at a local restaurant of your choice and have a taste of local gastronomy.
Your cruise continues towards Split, the capital of Dalmatia. En-route and weather permitting, your ship will moor at Omis, a mountain-backed town that served as a pirate hideout in the Middle Ages, here enjoy an included boat trip to Cetina River Canyon before cruising to Split. This afternoon, join our guided walk around Croatia's second city, whose UNESCO-protected centre houses a stunning palace built as a retirement bolthole for the 4th century Roman Emperor Diocletian. This afternoon brings a guided tour of the superb palace complex, which encloses bustling lanes, mighty columns and gates. This evening is at leisure to enjoy dinner at a restaurant of your choice.
In the morning set sail for Hvar, a destination for sailors for over two thousand years and stop along the way for a relaxing swim in one of the secluded coves. After lunch onboard you will arrive in the town of Hvar. Apart from its unique cultural heritage, Hvar is celebrated destination for singles and families, sailboats and super-yachts. With its sunny climate, natural beauty, excellent food, wine and sports, Hvar is unforgettable. Dine at a local restaurant of your choice and enjoy the evening here.
Departing from Hvar in the morning, set sail to Mljet Island and the renowned beauty of Mljet National Park. If you want to visit Mljet National Park, walk to the entrance where you can purchase the ticket to walk around the Great Lake and the Small Lake and join the boat ride to St. Mary Island. Dine at a local restaurant of your choice or join the optional Captain’s Dinner onboard.
In the morning continue your adventure by sailing back to Dubrovnik. After a break for a spot of lunch and a swim in the azure waters you will arrive in Dubrovnik. Dine at a local restaurant of your choice and enjoy the evening here.
DAY 8: DUBROVNIK - UK
After breakfast disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
