Your Destinations —
Famous for its unique array of music and culture, Louisiana is home of the Mardi Gras festivities. Capture the essence of the carnival through elaborate displays and artefacts found in the State Museum. Take a trip on the infamous riverboats which ply the mighty Mississippi river or enjoy the State Parks and historic sites which have won awards for their outstanding scenery and cultural and architectural values.
This fantastic destination has an ancient lighthouse and plenty of opportunity so see wildlife in its natural surroundings. With exotic birds, sandy beaches and mouth-watering food, you will think you’re in heaven. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Cozumel offers some of the best snorkelling and scuba diving in the Caribbean, with the perfect combination of colourful reefs, transparent water and sunny skies. Or you can descend 90 feet and explore the underwater world by submarine. If you prefer dry land under your feet, check out the ruins at Tulum, once a great Mayan city.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Grand Cayman is one of a group of three magnificent tropical islands Christopher Columbus called "Las Tortugas" (the turtles) for the sea creatures he found in the ocean water. The designation did not endure, however, for on later maps the islands were labeled the Caimanau, the Carib Indian word for "crocodile." The name "Caimanas" refers inaccurately to the iguanas native to the islands, which were perhaps at one point mistaken for crocodiles. Among other attractions, visitors to the island will enjoy learning about the turtles, visiting the town of Hell, exploring Seven-Mile Beach and enjoying the undersea world.
Montego Bay, Jamaica
Montego Bay, known as "Mo' Bay" to the locals, is Jamaica's second largest community. Gorgeous white-sand beaches and mangrove wetlands surround the old town, which rests at the bottom of lush green mountains. Montego Bay offers the best of the Caribbean, including beautiful Georgian architecture in the historic town of Falmouth. Surround yourself with the essence of Jamaica in the island's friendliest city.
Simply put, New York has it all. All of the shopping you desire, huge skyscrapers, museums and theatres that draw travellers from all around the world are located across this surprisingly small and easily explored island.
Split into five boroughs the city is home to some of the most iconic sites in the world. From the Empire State building and the green oasis of Central Park to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Times Square, the island of Manhattan probably has the most recognisable icons in one area than any other place in the world. Other attractions include the Statue of Liberty, Bronx Zoo, Yankees Stadium, Brooklyn Bridge and Staten Island ferry to name a few.
