Sydney is one of Australia’s largest cities, with its most recognisable landmarks being the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Most city tours revolve around water; catch a ferry and cruise Sydney Harbour to Manly, where you can enjoy a full day’s sightseeing cruise or speed across the harbour in a high-speed jet boat. The beaches and bays are popular to indulge in all kinds of water-based activities such as surfing, sailing and scuba diving.
Sydney offers a wide range of eating options from around the world - some of the most iconic inner-city food venues are to be found at Potts Point, Surry Hills, Chippendale and Newtown. Sydney is also known for its thriving nightlife of Oxford Street or Paddington. Enjoy one of the many cafés on the beautifully restored Victorian terraces on the streets of Paddington or Woollahra.
Stay 3 nights in a double room at the Sydney Travelodge Sydney (meals are not included).
Just 90 minutes by car from Brisbane is Noosa, a paradise nestled between the coast and the beautiful national park. Unlike the Gold Coast, there are no massive urban areas. We recommend a visit to the Noosa National Park to see the Koala Bears or an excursion to the Noosa Everglades by boat and kayak. Stroll down Hastings Street, a street lined with shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants.
Spend 2 nights at Peppers Noosa & Villas in a double room including breakfast.
Continue your journey to Hervey Bay. Hervey Bay is a coastal city approximately 300km North of Brisbane and is renowned for observing humpback whales during the July to November migration season. A waterfront promenade links the marina with beaches offering calm waters for sports like snorkelling, diving, sailing and swimming.
Stay in a Double Room at the Hervey Bay Mantra on a Room Only basis.
Rockhampton’s superb climate averages more than 300 sunny days a year. Straddling the Fitzroy River, most activities in this historic and vibrant city revolve around the outdoors. Visit the Rockhampton Heritage Village or the Dreamtime Cultural Centre. You could also take a stroll around the Amusement Park on the river or have a beer in one of the iconic pubs.
Stay at Henderson Park Farm Retreat in a Double Room.
Airlie Beach is a resort town on Queensland's Whitsunday Coast and gateway to the Whitsunday Islands which is one of the archipelago’s largest cities. Don’t miss the protected bay of Cid Harbour or visit the sugarcane at Proserpine and surroundings.

Cairns is a multicultural and lively city in Far North Queensland. Its Esplanade offers a multitude of restaurants, shops and bars as well as watersport and swimming beaches. It is a popular vantage point to explore the islands, mountainous rainforest, gorges, beaches and the Great Barrier Reef. Ayer's Rock Extension —
Uluru, or Ayers Rock, is considered Australia’s most famous national sights and is best viewed at sunrise or sunset. Until a few years ago, this sandstone monolith in the heart of Northern Territory’s ‘Red Centre’ was known as Ayers Rock, a name given to it by the European explorer William Gosse in 1873. This natural wonder stands 348m tall and is resplendent in the sun’s changing light which gives it a hypnotic and bewitching quality.
Take a walk around the base of Uluru to observe the rocks’ colour change with the change of light. Discover Uluru in a helicopter or admire Kata Tjuta at sunrise or sunset.
Stay for 1 Night at the Desert Garden Hotel in a double room including breakfast.
Kings Canyon, forms part of the Watarrka National Park which has been the home of Luritja aborigines for over 22,000 years. Watarrka is an important reserve with water holes and gorges that serve as a refuge for more than 600 species of local plants and animals. The impressive red cliffs of Kings Canyon rise 100m above dense forests of palm trees, cycads and ferns, protecting them from the region’s harsh desert climate.
The 6km Rim Walk gives you the opportunity to admire the most spectacular views from the edge of the canyon and the eroded domes of 'Lost City' and the 'Garden of Eden', a valley where dense vegetation coexists with permanent water basins. The hike is relatively strenuous and lasts 3 to 4 hours. There is also the 2.6km Kings Creek walk which takes you to the center of the Canyon.
Stay for 1 night at Kings Canyon Resort in a double room including breakfast.
The Glen Helen Gorge is made of granite, with the sandstone having been deposited here more than 500 million years ago. This spectacular gorge is upstream of the Finke River and an ideal hiking destination. It offers magnificent views of 'Window in the Rock' and 'Organ Pipes'.
The aboriginal Alice Springs Arrernte believe that the picturesque West MacDonnell Mountains have formed from giant caterpillars (called Yeperenye). Each gorge has its own character. Simpsons Gap, for example, is a river basin where rock wallabies live in the rocky ridges. Standley Chasm is most dramatic around noon on a sunny day with the walls glow in the reflected sunlight, creating a breath-taking display. Walk along the walking tracks to discover the gorges. Swim in the Orminston Gorge or visit the ocher wells which were once used by the aborigines as a quarry of ocher pigments.
Spend 1 Night at Glen Helen’s Homestead lodge in double room including breakfast.
