Your guide will pick you up at your hotel around 08:00 and take you to Singapadu village to visit a traditional Balinese house where you can admire its authentic architectural style. The next stop is the Ubud Monkey Forest, home to hundreds of macaques guarding the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal temple (sacred bathing temple).

This tour brings you a full day trip to discover some of the best natural and cultural attractions of Bali’s central and eastern regions. Feel the essence of Bali from up close with its many wonders. Start the journey with a pick up by your guide at 8.30am at your hotel and drive north east to the Klungkung regency. Your first stop is the ancient court of Kertagosa and its compound and unique paintings on the ceilings. Next, enjoy a scenic drive through the Bukit Jambul area, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery on the drive to Besakih, Bali’s mother temple.

Explore this vast religious monument and learn its history and role in Hinduism in Bali. Drive back south, with lunch at a local restaurant in Rendang. Then, head to a local coffee plantation to find out the secrets behind the famous Luwak coffee and Indonesian spices. This is followed with the exploration of Kehen Temple, the state temple of Bangli Kingdom with great steps leads to the beautifully decorated entrance gate. It is one of Bali’s most beautiful temples dating back to the 11th century.

Before you transfer back to your hotel, enjoy a stop at Penglipuran village, well known for its tidy row of traditional Balinese entrance gates and its unique traditional architectural styles.

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


You need a visa to travel to Australia. British citizens can get the following types of electronic visitor visa:

  • eVisitor visa direct from the Department of Immigration & Border Protection. There is no visa application charge or service fee for this;

  • Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) via your travel agent or airline. There is no visa application charge, but a service fee of A$20 applies


Information on all other types of visa is available from the Department of Immigration & Border Protection, or from the Australian High Commission in London.


In certain circumstances, you may be asked to undergo a health examination before a visa can be granted, for example, if you are aged 75 years or older. Factor in extra time for this when applying for a visa.
