Your Itinerary In Detail

First stop: Vilnius

Day 1: Arrive in Vilnius. Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrival hall with a sign with your name on it and transfer you to your hotel where you will have the time to check in and get situated.

Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania was founded in 1323 when Grand Duke Gediminas built a castle there, and it is now a bustling city with one of the oldest and most charming Old Towns in Europe. The splendid architectural blend of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles makes this a wonderful city to explore.

Check in the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2 / 2-3: Wake up to a breakfast at the hotel and set out to discover the beauties of Vilnius. Opt for a 3-hour city tour by foot with a private English-speaking guide (at the next stage of the booking process) and visit the gems of the city as well as historic landmarks such as the Parliament, the President's Palace and the Gates of Dawn.

At your own leisure, you can visit the Užupis District, which was first mentioned as far back as the 16th century. Formerly it was a suburb of the poor, with three bridges across the River Vilnelė connecting it with the main city. In Malūno Street, pass Bernardine Monastery of Užupis, established in 1496. In Užupis Street, see the Palace of Honesty which was built at the beginning of the 19th century in the late classicism style. If you walk this street, you will also see St. Balthazar Church. This quarter also has the oldest cemetery in Vilnius stretched on the steep riverside of the River Vilnelė. The cemetery used to belong to the Bernardine monks and has since been restored.

Second Stop: Riga

Day 3 / 4: Begin your morning with breakfast at the hotel. Then, you will board the LuxExpress bus for a 4 and a half-hour ride to Riga. The bus is fully equipped for your comfort with WiFi, toilets, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Arrive at the central bus station in Riga, which is located only a few steps away from Old Town and close to your hotel. Check-in to your hotel and stay overnight.

Riga is the biggest of the three Baltic capital cities and the most vibrant. Take your time to enjoy it!

Day 4 / 5-6: Wake up to breakfast at the hotel. You will have the day to explore the city. To see the city in-depth, you can opt for a 3-hour city tour on foot with a private English-speaking guide (at the next stage of the booking process).

You will enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic city while strolling through the cobble-stone, picturesque streets of the Old Town. In Old Riga, you will see the Dome Cathedral which boasts one of the world’s largest pipe organs, St. Peter's Church with magnificent views of the city from its steeple, the old Guild Houses, the Swedish Gate, the architectural ensemble - Three Brothers, St. Jacob’s Church, the Parliament House, Old Riga Castle, and view the many wonderfully restored buildings, now housing cosy restaurants, cafés, bars and souvenir shops.

Continue on our own to the Art Nouveau area, once home to many of Latvia’s most famous artists, writers, and scholars. You will see why Riga came to be known as one of Europe's leading exponents of the late 19th and early 20th-century architectural style of Art Nouveau. Riga boasts the greatest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe, which are among the finest and best-preserved in the world.

We highly recommend visiting the Central Market, open 365 days a year, 7 days a week. The market was established in 1922 in old Zeppelin hangars abandoned by the German Kaiser’s army in the western region of Kurzeme. The market and hangars have since become a landmark of the city for both Rigans and the city’s visitors.

In the evening, visit Andrejosta district (yacht port) for a fancy dinner with a view of the Daugava river or go to Tallinas Kvartals (Tallinas district) for a more local vibe.

Stay overnight at your hotel.

Last stop: Tallinn

Day 5/ 7: Delight in breakfast and morning to enjoy at your own leisure. Then, take a LuxExpress bus to Tallinn. The travel time will take about 4 and a half hours.

When in Tallinn, start your discovery with a sneak-peek into Old Town - a picturesque old city, where whole districts date back to the Middle Ages. Check into your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6 / 8-9: Have your breakfast at the hotel. Visit the city and opt for a 3-hour city tour on foot.

Visit the Old Town with its quaint narrow streets and beautiful merchants' houses exemplifying the best of Gothic architecture. The tour includes Toompea Castle, the 13th-century Dome church, the 19th-century Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Alexander Nevskij, the 15th-century town hall square, the Old Guild built to celebrate Tallinn's membership in the Hanseatic League, and St. Olaf's church.

Continue on your own to the famous Maritim Museum Seaplane Harbour and Port Noblessner district or visit Kadriorg Palace and park! In the afternoon discover Telliskivi district, full of young locals, drink a coffee or enjoy some traditional beer or cider.

For a truly medieval experience, we suggest you book a table at the Olde Hansa restaurant.

Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 7 / 10: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight times, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and drive you to Tallinn Airport.

Your Destinations

Thanks to its impeccably maintained Old Town, Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Home to an extraordinary historic continuity, and a turbulent history, Vilnius is a quintessentially European city that boasts a wide reputation as a charming, delightful and magical holiday destination across all seasons.

From the stunning examples of classicism, eclecticism, brick gothic and art nouveau in the city centre, to the beautiful parks and the steep, hilly streets, Vilnius is a delight. Walk along the banks of the river Neris as it serenely snakes its way through the city centre. The riverside path offers spectacular views of the Old Town on one side, and the imposing skyscrapers of the New District on the other.

Riga, the capital of Latvia and the largest capital of the Baltic States, is home to Gothic spires that dominate its cityscape. Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Old Town is a must-see when exploring the city. At the mouth of the Daugava River, buildings dating as far back as 1201 can be seen, still holding on to their charm and history.

The city is also famous for its Art Nouveau architecture which make up over one third of the buildings in the centre, built during the 19th and 20th-century. Riga prides itself in holding the greatest concentration of Art Nouveau buildings in Europe, which are among the best-preserved in the world.

When looking for a place to eat, stop by the Central Market, built into old Zeppelin hangars left behind by the German Kaisar's army. The markets are open 365 days a year, 7 days a week and are popular among the locals and visitors alike.

Estonia's capital, sitting on the edge of the Baltic Sea is known for its medieval Old Town. Most of the streets are pedestrian only, allowing visitors to roam and stroll along as they admire the beautiful merchant houses that display Gothic architecture.

The city is divided into two towns, with the upper section which once housed wealthy Germans and the lower section which housed the poor Estonians, formed two distinct styles within the city. This is why you can find the majestic Toompea Castle in the Upper Town, a stronghold site since the 9th century that today houses the Parliament of Estonia and in the Lower Town, the market.
