Your Destination —
Around 170km from Preveza, Zagori is an unspoiled, mountainous region of Greece region where breathtaking scenery takes centre stage. Soaring mountains, plunging waterfalls, and tranquil lakes are ready to be discovered...
The relative obscurity of this region, together with the creation of the national reserve park, have insured the preservation of the rich and varied flora and fauna - the area is one of the few in Europe where one can easily come across a wild bear!
You'll receive a warm welcome from the locals who are keen to ensure everyone experiences the best that the region has to offer.
If you are into extreme sports, try rafting, canyoning, trekking, hiking, or horse riding through the extreme landscapes.
If you are after a little more gentle rejuvenation, there are many shorter walking paths encompassing picturesque villages where you can stop for tea and traditional cakes.
There are also endless cultural treasures to explore, such as old convents, churches and the famous stone bridges.
