History & Flavour (from Monday to Saturday)
Learn more about the famous Cuban rum on this excursion and explore the capital in a vintage car. During this tour, you will visit the rum factory in Cárdenas to learn more about the centuries-old process of producing Cuba's national drink.
You will gain an insight into the machines and equipment used in sugar production. You will also take a tour of the distillery, and enjoy a tasting of all the Perla Rum lines.
Viñales Valley trip
Wlk through the Viñales Valley National Park, declared a Cultural Landscape and National Natural Monument by UNESCO and characterised by the beauty of its mogotes (mountains with rounded peaks) and numerous caves.
Later, you will be taken to the Cueva del Indio, where you will take a boat trip on the underground river before returning to the hotel.
After reaching the Los Jazmines viewpoint in the Viñales Valley, you will enjoy lunch (drinks not included) in a local restaurant.
You will also have the pleasure of admiring the magnificent prehistoric mural that stretches for more than 120 metres on the wall of the Mogote Pita, where you can study the evolutionary process of man and animals in the Sierra de los Orégos.
