A country of breath-taking beauty, Japan is full of wonders in all seasons. In autumn, enjoy the magnificent colours of the maple trees in Kyoto's parks; in winter, contemplate the beauty of the Japanese landscapes under a blanket of snow and enjoy the warmth of the onsen (thermal baths).

 

In spring, visit the Japanese gardens as they come back to vivid life.  The cherry trees are in bloom at your destination by mid-March to early April. Finally, in summer, enjoy the beaches near Tokyo or Kyoto, accessible by public transport.

HAKONE MOUNT FUJI

Between Mount Fuji and the Izu Peninsula, the Hakone area offers a wide range of natural sites, museums and onsens.

Nestled between the Sea of Japan and the Japanese Alps, Kanazawa has much to offer travellers.

You will sleep on comfortable futons placed on the tatami. As is customary in Japanese temple hotels, the onsen bathroom is shared (not mixed). Toilet and sink are usually in the room but not guaranteed. Japanese baths in the room are optional. Please select this option on the booking page if you wish to have a private room. 

 

If the hotels listed above are unavailable, you will be provided with comfortable accommodation in similar hotels. Local standards apply. 

Your dining choices

This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay in Hiroshima and Kanazawa for the 12 and 14-night stays.

 

When you stay in a ryokan in Hakone on Mount Fuji, you will enjoy an authentic Japanese half board experience (excluding drinks) at only in this establishment, and not in the other hotels on the programme.
