Day 1: Arrival in Manila

  • Manila, with its 12 million inhabitants and sprawling urban sprawl, is a world city with a unique history.
  • A pioneer of trade between Asia, America and Europe in the 16th century, Manila was still regarded at the beginning of the 20th century as the beacon of Asia and the pearl of the Orient.

DAY 2: NEGROS ISLAND

  • Explore the diverse landscapes of Negros Island, where lush mountains, pristine beaches, and vibrant cities coexist.
  • Dive into the underwater wonders of Apo Island, trek through the scenic beauty of Mount Kanlaon, and experience the rich cultural tapestry of Dumaguete City, inviting you to discover the multifaceted charm of this island paradise.
  • Flight to Negros Island.

DAY 3: TURTLE ISLAND 

  • Apo Island is a small rocky island 40 minutes by boat from the south-east coast of Negros. It's home to a 600-hectare reserve and considered to be one of the richest and most diverse in the archipelago.
  • Biologists from Silliman University have counted over 400 varieties of coral and 600 species of fish.
  • It's a haven for green turtles, an endangered species that has found an ideal ecosystem in Apo.

Day 4: Twin Lakes National Park

  • Twin Lakes National Park, one of three on the island of Negros, extends over 8,000 hectares along the slopes of Mount Talinis.
  • At its centre are the Balinsasayao and Danao lakes, two crater lakes perched at an altitude of almost 900m and fed solely by rainwater.
  • The park is remarkable for its vegetation. There is a healthy primary tropical forest, with 351 plant species listed, including many tree ferns. But it is also much visited for its wildlife, and in particular for its 278 species of birds, some of which are endemic. Birdwatchers from all over the world regularly visit the park.
  • Visit to Pulang Bato waterfalls and the Red Rocks hot springs.
  • Boat ride from Dumaguete to Siquijor.

DAY 5: SIQUIJOR

  • Imagine an island. An ideal island, not too big, but big enough to harbour a variety of landscapes, white sandy beaches, mangrove swamps, typical little villages and here and there a few terraced rice fields. An inhabited island, but not overcrowded or overrun by tourists, with no shopping centres or chain hotels - that's Siquijor.

  • Bohol is like the Philippines in miniature. The island is renowned for its biodiversity, symbolised by the tarsier, one of the world's smallest primates. The landscape is varied, with lush green rice paddies, deep forests, white sandy beaches and the mysterious Chocolate Hills. Above all, you'll find the warmth and smiles of the boholanos.
