Cefalù is a charming coastal town located on the northern coast of Sicily, Italy. Renowned for its picturesque beauty, Cefalù boasts a stunning sandy beach, historic architecture including a magnificent Norman cathedral, and a vibrant old town with narrow winding streets that offer a glimpse into its rich past.
Palermo is the vibrant capital city of Sicily, Italy, situated on the northwest coast of the island. With a history dating back to ancient times, Palermo is a melting pot of cultures, evident in its diverse architecture, bustling markets, and a mix of historical landmarks including the Palermo Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Normanni.
Monreale is located on the heights of Palermo, known primarily for its stunning Monreale Cathedral. The cathedral is a masterpiece of Norman architecture, adorned with intricate Byzantine mosaics that depict biblical scenes and figures in exquisite detail. This UNESCO World Heritage site attracts visitors with its awe-inspiring interior and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, making Monreale a must-visit destination for those exploring the cultural and historical riches of Sicily.
Days 4 & 5: Etna and Taormina
The Etna, the most active volcano on the planet, rises over 3,000 metres and offers lunar landscapes of dark stone and glowing lava. You can take a day or half-day excursion to admire the various craters. If you are feeling more sporty, you can reach the highest point of Etna and admire the craters at a height of 3,300 metres.
Taormina is perched high on a hilltop, with sweeping views of the glittering Mediterranean Sea and Mount Etna towering in the distance. The streets of Taormina are narrow and winding, flanked by stone houses adorned with colourful flowers and plants. Charming piazzas house pretty cafes and restaurants boasting a mouth-watering blend of Sicilian and Mediterranean flavours.

Erice is a magnificent medieval town perched on Mount Eryx overlooking the sea, the Egadi Islands and Trapani. The historic centre, surrounded by walls and consisting of a maze of winding streets of incomparable charm, is dominated by the Castle of Venus (visit outside), built on an ancient Roman temple dedicated to the goddess of love.
Days 5-7: Etna, Taormina, Syracuse and Ortigia
Siracusa harmonises rich architecture and culture with the allure of the ancient Sicilian countryside. Showcasing Baroque marvels and the legacy of Magna Graecia, it has been shaped by Roman, Byzantine, Arab, and Norman influences. Must-see sites include Neapolis Square and Ortigia Island. You will be able to choose your airline and flight times when you make your booking. This flight may include one or more stopovers. The stopover may be technical (without a change of aircraft) or transit (with a change of aircraft).
Luggage information
Baggage, meals and other services on board certain flights may be subject to a charge. You will find out whether your airfare includes baggage when you choose your airline and timetable. If your fare does not include baggage, please go to the airline's website before your departure with your travel file reference to find out the exact fare and purchase your extra baggage. If you choose a low-cost airline, you will be able to add your baggage during the booking process. For domestic flights, airlines do not always offer the option of reserving baggage, so you will have to pay for it at the airport counter. - In the event of non-use or partial use of the rental vehicle, no refund will be given.
- EUROPCAR and HOLIDAY CAR RENTAL only accept the following debit cards: VISA DEBIT, MASTERCARD DEBIT, V-PAY. Prepaid and/or electronic cards and not linked to a customer bank account will not be accepted.
- The card must be in the name of the driver.
- A deposit on your credit card will be requested upon arrival at the agency. The deposit will be returned to you if the car is returned undamaged and with a full tank of petrol.
- Otherwise, in addition to the fuel surcharge, a service charge of approximately 12.50 € will be applied. The above rates are valid for periods of at least 1 day (1 x 24 h). The vehicle must be returned at the same time as it was picked up.
- Any delay of more than 30 minutes will incur an additional charge of one day according to the official local rate applied by the rental company, to be paid on the spot.
- Minimum age of driver: 25 years old and in possession of a driving licence for more than one year.
- Please note that from 21 to 24 years old there is the possibility to take the car with a "Young Driver" supplement of € 21,00 per day to be paid on the spot at the car rental counter.

In order for your rental car to be available upon arrival, please provide us with your flight schedule within 48 hours of your booking by filling out the dedicated form in your member account. Without this information, your car may not be available in time.
