Your Itinerary In Detail —
DAY 1: INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT & ARRIVAL IN SANTIAGO
Ready for your adventure in Chile?
Your driver will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your accommodation. Arrival must be between 8:00 and 10:00 if you choose the optional guided tour with supplement.

Enjoy a 4-hour guided walking tour through the centre of Santiago.
Start with the beautiful Santa Lucia Park, site of the city's foundation, the Plaza de Armas and its magnificent cathedral, the presidential palace of La Moneda and a walking tour of the city centre. Climb to Cerro San Cristobal for a panoramic view of the city and the Andes, passing through the Bohemian Bellavista district.
Then enjoy a day of freedom!

DAY 2: SANTIAGO
Optional Private Guided Tour of Valparaíso (optional with supplement, to be booked upon arrival):
Take part in a guided walking tour of Valparaíso (funiculars included) with a guide.
Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to Valparaíso, a port city overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The drive takes about an hour and a half.
Valparaíso, Chile's legendary port, has been booming since it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003. Today, the charm of its narrow streets and amazing funiculars will take you back to its past. There are 45 hills, and you're sure to be smitten by the colourful cityscape.

DAY 3: SANTIAGO - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Your driver will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Santiago airport for your domestic flight to Calama. Once there, you will be welcomed by your guide with a sign with your name on it.
Optional Guided Tour of Vallecito (optional with supplement):
Set out for Vallecito, an alternative to the touristy Valley of the Moon. Situated in the salt mountain range, you will discover the extraordinary landscapes of the Valley of Patience and the unique geological phenomena in this part of the world.

DAY 4: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Optional Guided Tour of the Rainbow Valley (optional with supplement):
For this new exploration, you will cross the spectacular valley along the Rio Salado and the Quebrada de Chuschul. Your experience will continue until sunset so that you can enjoy this spectacular scene with a cocktail in hand!

DAY 5: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Optional Guided Tour of the Altiplanic Lagoons (optional with supplement):
You will begin your tour in the picturesque hamlet of Toconao, and have the opportunity to visit the church, the main square and a traditional house, where it's possible to purchase local handicrafts.
Then head to the highlands by the lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques. Enjoy snacks while your guide explains the formation of the volcanoes, lagoons and the whole landscape of the Andes. You will then discover the Salar de Aguas Calientes and the Salar de Talar. Should you wish to discover the area further, you can enjoy a short walk to the Piedras Rojas.
You will take the road towards the Argentinean border until you reach the Tuyajto Lagoon, which is a beautiful, little frequented spot. After a picnic lunch, the guide will show you the vestiges of the pre-Columbian culture, still in evidence today. Your tour will come to a close with a visit to a pretty church.

DAY 6: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA
Optional Guided Tour of the Salt Desert (optional with supplement):
New discoveries await as you head towards Argentina, over the Jama Pass on a road that exceeds 4,800 metres in altitude. Your first stop will be at the 'Bofedal De Putana' (a highland peat bog) to enjoy a hot drink and observe various animals typical of the region such as vicuñas and different species of birds.
We will then discover the magnificent 'Salar De Pujsa', a salt flat where thousands of flamingos live in a beautiful and colourful landscape. Afterwards, head for the 'Monjes De La Pacana' (monks of the Pacana), rock formations located in the Andes mountain range, among which the 'Guardian of the Salar' stands out.
You will then reach the Salar de Tara, from where you can admire the famous 'Cathedrals of Tara' from the lookout point. Enjoy a hike with your guide, who will talk about the geology of the area and the formation of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. Thereafter, head towards the 'Monjes Blancos' (white monks) where the origin of the colour of these magnificent rock formations will be explained.
The tour ends with a lunch on the shores of the Salar de Tara lagoon, where you can take photos and observe the flora and fauna of the area.
You will return to San Pedro de Atacama at the end of the day and enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 7: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - SANTIAGO
Optional Guided Tour of the Tatio Geysers (optional with supplement):
It's an early start today! Before sunrise, you will depart for the Tatio Geysers - the third most important geothermal site in the world.
Departure takes place early so as to observe the spectacular phenomenon of the fumaroles (breakfast will be taken during the excursion). After a hearty breakfast, you can enjoy discovering this stunning, tranquil site.
A visit to the 'White Geyser' presents you with the opportunity to take a dip, alternating between river water and thermal water, before discovering the mud geysers. Afterwards, return to the Laguna Machuca to discover the Andean paramo, a subtle balance between the local flora and fauna.
For the next part of your adventure, you will continue to Calama Airport and fly to the capital. Upon arrival at Santiago airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy free time in the evening for dinner and leisure.

DAY 8 : INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
A departure time between 11am and 4pm will allow you to enjoy your transfer to the airport to catch your return flight with ease, full of super memories.
