Odescalchi Castle - The majestic Odescalchi Castle is one of the most beautiful feudal dwellings of Europe. Building began in the second half of the 1400's, and the construction is a perfect combination of military and civil architecture.
Lake Bracciano - Lake Bracciano is surrounded by forests, olive groves and gardens. Its outlet is the Arrone River, starting next to Anguillara and ending in the Tyrrhenian Sea near Fregene. A sluice constructed by the end of the 1700's is still working perfectly after having undergone restorations, to maintain water at a constant level. It feeds the Acquedotto Paulo, constructed at the time of Pope Paul V in the beginning of the 1600's in order to supply the Vatican with fresh water.
The Civic Museum of Allumiere - The Civic Museum of Allumiere, which is housed in the Palace of the “Reverenda Camera Apostolica” (XVI sec.) in the historic centre of Allumiere, was founded by Odoardo Toti in 1956 and the exhibits are examples of the traces left by man in this area from the Palaeolithic Age until today. Altogether, the Museum has 4,000 articles, 1,500 of which are exhibited; it has a photographic laboratory with audio-visual slides in every section, and didactic laboratories that allow an experimental archaeological approach for school groups with all the phases of excavation, cataloguing, restoration and acquisition of knowledge.
San Liberato – Located near Bracciano, in the direction of Trevignano, the architect and landscaper Russel Page planned, in the last century, a splendid garden famous for a romantic atmosphere that pervades every corner. The small ancient church has the oldest bell tower in the district.
