Check-in starts at 2 pm and Check-out by 11 am.

Due to flight times, most hotel guests arrive late morning. However, guests should note that some flights arrive early morning and often the rooms are already occupied by guests departing at 11 am.

If you wish to arrive at the hotel before 2 pm, you must notify the hotel in advance. Depending on availability it may be possible to check-in before 2 pm and there is a 20 EUR charge for this.

If you wish to check out at 4 pm (late check-out), there is also a 20 EUR charge and is subject to availability. Please contact Zanzibar Tropical Sunset directly in advance of your trip to arrange this if necessary.

Fall asleep easily on the plush bed with an ornate headboard in the elegant and intimate Suite, and during the day, admire views of the sumptuous pool from the Suite's furnished terrace.

Relax and settle into the slow pace of island life at this exclusive property. Head to Kiwengwa Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, located just 350 metres away. Soak up some sun and spend lazy days around the pool.

Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of Stone Town, one of the few intact historic Swahili towns in East Africa, followed by a sunset cruise. 

Stone Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. The tour includes a visit to the city's bustling market, the old slave market, the House of Wonders, the Sultan's Palace, and the Arab Fort. You will also have time to do some shopping as Stone Town has a variety of excellent souvenir and craft shops.    

At 5.30pm board a Dhow (a traditional boat) for a mesmerising sunset cruise. 

Timings: 1 pm – 6.30 pm approximately (further details will be communicated to you upon arrival).

Explore the most famous marine conservation area in the Northeast of Zanzibar. A short boat ride from Matemwe villages takes you to Mnemba Atoll Marine Park boasting an extraordinary coral reef, home to moray eels, lionfish, stingrays, and much more.
