DAY 3: MUSCAT - JABAL AKHDAR
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, get ready for an adventurous day on the way to the Wahiba Sands.
The drive along the coast offers tantalizing glimpses of the sea. Stop at Bimah Abyss, around 200 metres inland, where fresh and saltwater mix to create a turquoise pool. Then descend a concrete staircase for safe access to this picturesque pool, where visitors can swim among friendly fish that gently tickle their toes.

Natural spring water is channeled into the falaj system to irrigate the surrounding date palm plantations, and you can dip your toe or wander in the trickling water. Enjoy a walk through the village with its date palms and falaj system. At the springs, you can observe the local inhabitants.
Photo stop at the Nakhl fort perched on a rocky outcrop.
We then continue our journey through the spectacular Wadi Bani Awf. This stretch of tarmac road is very adventurous and only suitable for those in good physical condition, as it includes steep bends and bumpy roads.

Your Destination —
Oman
A beautiful and peaceful country, which is home to many of the most amazing landscapes of the Arabian Peninsula, Oman is also known to be the most traditional, unexplored and welcoming country in the Middle East. Unlike neighboring Dubai and Qatar, Oman has managed to keep its traditions largely intact. With a great coastline boasting dizzying cliffs, impressive mountains, numerous undiscovered sites and overwhelming hospitality, Oman is an ideal destination for adventure lovers seeking a fascinating and less-frequented destination.
The coastal road from Salalah to the border with Yemen offers spectacular views, the many wadis with natural pools offer unique places to enjoy the outdoors, and its historical heritage hides treasures such as the ruins of Manah or the various forts that extend through Rustaq , Bahla and Nizwa. Without a doubt, Oman promises visitors an exciting and unconventional experience.
