Your Itinerary —
Arrive at Muscat international Airport. You will be met before immigration with a placard and escorted to the arrival lounge where you enjoy Omani hospitality. Hot or cold refreshments are offered while the lounge executive completes the immigration formalities. You are then escorted to the baggage hall and assisted with their baggage and custom formalities. Meet your chauffeur on arrival and transfer to Chedi Muscat or Crowne Plaza Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat
Pick up from the hotel. This day you will have an overview of Muscat. Visit the Grand Mosque (open in the mornings 0800-1100, excluding Fridays). After the visit to Grand mosque you will continue to Muscat's new Royal Opera House. The newly completed building is the premier venue for musical arts and culture in Oman. Drive along the corniche to visit the Fish Souk and the colourful Muttrah Souk. You will have a photo stop at the Al Alam Palace and the 16th century Forts of Mirani & Jalali. Finally, you will visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum.
Afternoon at leisure.

08:00 Depart from Muscat and proceed to visit the Nizwa Round tower Fort and the Nizwa Souk. Drive to the pretty village of Birkat Al Mauz where you will enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations.
You will then proceed to Wadi Al Madeen. From here a 36 km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Al Akhdar (2000 mts above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Enjoy the cool climate up in the mountains. Al Jebel Al Akhdar is famed for its fruit orchards, typically laid out terrace style along the slopes of mountains, which are endowed with natural springs and aflaj. The villages of Saiq, Wadi Bani Habib (the village of the old houses) and Al Ain dot the landscape. The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges and wadis. The roses of Jabal Al Akhdar fill the air with fragrance when in full bloom (March / April). Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers. (It is advisable to wear light comfortable clothing and walking shoes).

Day 4: Jebel Akhdar

08:00 Proceed to the Sinaw market, a traditional and old market where one can view trade in goats, guns, and silver. From here you will carry onto to Mudhaybi. Next you will visit old village of Munziff in Ibra. After, drive to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of Oman’s most spectacular wadis with its deep blue pools of water. Wadi Bani Khalid is comprised of small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. After having enjoyed your time at the Wadi, you will drive to Wahiba Sands to experience the sunset at the top of the Wahiba dunes and experience some dune driving! Finally, you will visit a Bedouin family to experience traditional Omani hospitality.
Dinner & Overnight stay at 1000 Nights camp or Similar with Half Board basis (breakfast + evening meal - drinks excluded).
Enjoy an early breakfast. 08:00 Pickup from the camp and proceed to Muscat via Sur. You will visit the fish jetty and dhow factory. Stop at Fins beach for a swim. Your next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue green water at the bottom. On clear sunny days while driving along the coast, one might chance to see sharks in the deep blue water, or fleet footed Gazelle sprinting across the landscape. You will proceed to Wadi Arbayeen with its refreshing deep pools of water set among the date palms. You will return to Muscat by 17:00.

Day 7: Muscat
After breakfast, you will be transferred from Muscat Hotel to Muscat International Airport for your flight back to the UK.
