Days 1 - 3
Welcome to Kathmandu – the capital and largest city of Nepal, a landlocked country located in South Asia. It is situated in the Kathmandu Valley in the central part of Nepal, surrounded by hills and mountains, including the Himalayas.
Today, stroll to Asan, an ancient local market in central Kathmandu, famous both for its amazing temples and ancient buildings, as well as for the trinkets, spices, and clothes that can be found there. This market has a long history, dating back to when Kathmandu was an important hub on the trade route between India and Tibet.

- Visit Asan (an ancient local market in Kathmandu)

Day 2: Kathmandu
Situated on the banks of the Baghmati River, about 8 km from the city, Pashupatinath is one of the holiest and oldest Hindu shrines. The existence of the Pasupatinath temple dates back to 400 CE. The ornately decorated pagoda houses the sacred linga (sacred symbol of Lord Shiva). Thousands of pilgrims from all over the world come to pay homage to this temple also known as the 'Temple of Living Beings'.
Boudhanath is the Tibetan center of Nepalese culture, and has the largest stupa in South Asia. Today, Boudhanath is bustling with the Tibetan population, busy with carpet making, trade and prayers in the different monasteries belonging to the different communities of Tibetan Buddhism.
Today you'll experience Tibetan singing bowls at a local boutique specializing in sound therapy using these handcrafted instruments. The vibrations of the bowls are said to cure headaches, back pain, stress and even insomnia. The sound healing session lasts less than 5 minutes and is free.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Dhulikhel - Kathmandu
Bhaktapur is famous for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and typical Newari lifestyle. Discover the Royal Palace, the Golden Gate and the entrance to the Palace of 55 Windows, known as the most important work of art in Nepal. Then visit the tallest temple in the entire Kathmandu Valley, the Nyatapola Temple.

Days 4 - 6
Pokhara is a picturesque city located in the Gandaki Province of Nepal, approximately 200 kilometers (124 miles) west of the capital city, Kathmandu. It is known for its stunning natural beauty and is a popular tourist destination in Nepal.

Important: Widening of the road between Mugling and Pokhara (about 80 km) is in progress. This results in slow traffic and an uncomfortable ride due to bumpy roads at many points along the route. It can occur that groups reach their destination hours late. However, you can opt for a domestic flight Pokhara - Kathmandu to avoid taking the same route for the return (optional, extra charge).
Day 5: Pokhara
The city is renowned for its breathtaking natural landscapes. The city is situated in a valley surrounded by the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges of the Himalayas, making it a gateway to some of the world's most famous trekking routes. The serene Phewa Lake, with its reflection of the Annapurna Range, is a major attraction and provides opportunities for boating and relaxation.
- Drive to Sarangkot, followed by a 2.5 km (30-minute) walk to the ancient fort of Kaski

Day 6: Pokhara – Chitwan
Chitwan National Park offers the richest and most spectacular wildlife spectacle in Asia. Once a hunting ground for Nepalese royalty, the elite and visiting European nobility, Nepal's first national park is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an undeniable success in protecting nature.
Chitwan is famous for its wilderness and is home to tigers, rhinos, sloth bears, leopards, crocodiles and over 400 species of birds.

- Jeep safaris are prohibited by the park authorities during the monsoon season, from June to September (and in some seasons they can extend the ban until October)

- The government has started construction on the road expansion from Naubise to Mugling Stretch (about 80 km). The ongoing works result in slow traffic and an uncomfortable ride due to bumpy roads at many points along the route and groups reach their destination hours late.
Days 7 - 9
Travel through the jungle of Chitwan where you can observe birds, flora and fauna, such as the one-horned rhino, countless species of deer, bison and, with a bit of luck, the Royal Bengal Tiger (the experience lasts 2-3 hours).
You'll also take a canoe trip on the Rapti River. Observe an array of beautiful natural scenery along the river, including different types of birds, crocodiles and other aquatic creatures.

Mountain flight over the Himalayas
Mountain flights offer the closest possible aerial views of Mount Everest, Kanchanjunga and the Tibetan plateau. Twice the size of the Alps, their immensity is breathtaking. The 50-minute flight offers an incredible panorama, which you can enjoy from the front row.
