Your Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Yangon

Day 2: Yangon - Bagan
Breakfast included at the hotel, transfer to Yangon airport and flight to Bagan. You will take the domestic flight to Bagan, the most amazing site of Myanmar if not all of Southeast Asia. On the banks of the Irrawaddy are thousands of stupas and temples full of history. Indeed, all around you, you will be surrounded by ruins of all sizes, witnesses of the apogee of Buddhist architecture of Myanmar.

Arrival in Bagan, transfer to the local restaurant. Enjoy a refreshment at your hotel. In the afternoon you will continue with the visit of Shwezigon Pagoda, where pilgrims come to honor Buddha and the 37 Nats. Transfer to Nan Myint Tower "Bagan Viewing" to admire the sunset. Stay the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Bagan
After your breakfast, your guide will take you from your hotel to the colourful market of Nyuang Oo, where locals trade fresh produce, and also their artisanal production. It will introduce you to the many herbs and vegetables used in Burmese cuisine.

Visiting the Ananda Temple, which has been described as a genius architectural work is certainly one of the most striking temples in Bagan. Discover its murals, dating from the 13th century. You will continue to the village of Myinkaba, where you will visit its family Lacquer factories. Observe the creation of the most admired lacquers of the region. Over the years, this know-how has become internationally renowned. All stages of production are presented and we can only remain amazed by the skill of the craftsmen.

Your afternoon will begin in a carriage to continue visiting temples and pagodas: And especially, Thatbyinnyu, the largest temple in Bagan. The elegant Htilominlo Temple, renowned for its fine plaster sculptures and glazed stoneware decorations. The Shwegugyi Temple, also called the Great Golden Cave, witness to the Bagan architecture of the middle ages.
