Your Itinerary in Detail —

Day 1: Upon arrival in Delhi, your English-speaking guide will come and meet you. Then, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in.
Day 2: After breakfast, it's time to visit Old Delhi. You will see The Red Fort, the Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in the world, Chandni Chowk the shopping district and heart of the old city, and the Raj Ghat where Gandhi was cremated.
You will then explore New Delhi: The Humayun Tomb, Government Buildings, Gateway to India, and Connaught Place.
Day 3-5
Day 3: After breakfast, it's time to take the road to head to Jaipur, known as the pink capital of Rajasthan, the pink city among the Rajput. The pink colour is symbolic of hospitality.
Jaipur was built in the 16th century by the Maharaja. Jaisingh Ji according to the ideal plan exposed in Arthashasthra. The city was drawn in a square, a walled enclosure of 9 doors, and divided into 9 neighbourhoods each of which had a specific function.
After checking into your hotel, you will have some time to explore the city at your own pace or head to the market.
Day 4: It's time to discover Jaipur. Stop in front of the "Hawa Mahal" wind palace, with its baroque facade. The architecture is both aesthetic and functional, which allowed the women of the courtyard to contemplate the street away from prying eyes.
Then, make your way to Amber Fort, home of the Maharajahs. Ascent the ramparts by Jeep 4x4. Visit the Palace with its rooms with mirrors and the old harem, a maze.
You can also attend Puja at Kali Temple. Puja is the time of prayers according to Hindu rites. You can only enter the temple barefoot and without any leather items.
Visit the astronomical observatory "Jantar Mantar". These monumental instruments make it possible to read the latitudes, longitudes and distances between the celestial bodies, the hour corresponding to the meridian of Jaipur.
To finish off your day, enjoy a rickshaw ride through the old town!
Day 5: Visit Fathepur Sikri, which is located 37 km west of Agra. A red-sandstone city was entirely made by Emperor Akbar in 1569, then abandoned 14 years later because of difficulties in the water supply. You will discover Buland Darwaja, the 54 m-high gate of victory, the Jami Masjid Mosque and the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti the saint who predicts the birth of Akbar's son, the future Emperor Jehangir. Then, drive to Agra.
Day 6-8
Day 6: Visit the famous Taj Mahal, which is the tourist emblem of India. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his second wife Mumtaz Mahal. Her death in childbirth in 1631 broke the emperor's heart. For her, the Taj Mahal was undertaken the same year, to be completed in 1653. 20,000 workers were recruited throughout India and Central Asia. Then, visit the Agra Fort.
You could also take part in the optional Homestay cooking class!
Day 7: After breakfast, it's time to travel from Agra to Delhi, a 5-hour drive approximately. Upon arrival, you are free to do whatever pleases you!

Your Destination —
New Delhi
A trip to New Delhi, India's dynamic capital, will introduce you to teeming bazaars, tree-lined boulevards, fascinating temples and historically important mosques. Somewhere between a place of intense spirituality and a dynamic eastern metropolis, this city offers something for all its visitors.
Its turbulent history is reflected in a wide variety of architectural styles, which testify to how the city has been destroyed and rebuilt many times. To see an example of the city's diverse cultural heritage, visit the Qutab Minar. This sandstone and marble brick minaret marked the beginning of Muslim rule in India. A short distance away, walkable by rickshaw, is the Presidential Palace (Rashtrapati Bhavan), where you can see the English and Indian architectural influences that characterise much of New Delhi. Walking along Rajpath Avenue (the King's Way), one can admire the Gateway of India, the monument to the Indian nation.
