Within a few minutes by cable car or within a few hours of walking, you will be immersed in the middle of stunning scenery. In winter, the location provides countless possibilities for boardsports lovers: large, long slopes, skiing between trees, ski sauvage, beginners’ slopes, freeride... And also cross-country skiing, walking in the delightful snow, mountaineering: endless routes in the world’s most beautiful glaciers!
Chamonix is also a lively mountain town, blessed with an architectural heritage paying homage to a rich past. Its numerous pedestrian streets, shops, restaurants and bars will ensure that you’re never short of something to do whatever time of the day. In total, guests can find no less than 120 kilometres of trails on 308 hectares. Tracks drawn in the forest offer all the pleasures of skiing: from the beginner welcomed in the new space that is specially equipped at the top of the Prarion gondola, to freestyle enthusiasts on the new Col de Voza snowpark, to the best skiers in the world. Flights:
It may be possible to choose from a selection of flight options at the next stage of the booking process. The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival). Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Other fees may be applicable in addition to the cost of your car rental for any additional products added to your car rental.

The main towns (working up the Valley from Servoz) include Les Houches, Les Bossons, Chamonix, Les Praz, Argentiere, Montroc / Le Tour and Vallorcine. Chamonix is best known for being the world capital of mountaineering and skiing but offers endless highlights across the seasons.
