6-night tour
Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik
Iceland's capital Reykjavik is known for its vibrant culture, stunning natural surroundings, and geothermal activity.
The city combines modern Nordic architecture with historic landmarks, such as the Hallgrímskirkja church and the Harpa concert hall.

Day 2: Borgarfjörður
Head north via the Hvalfjördur tunnel to the small village of Borgarnes, then on to the Skagafjördur fjord, known as one of Iceland's main horse habitats and the only county in Iceland where horses outnumber the population.
Continue through the mountainous plateau of Öxnadalsheidi to Akureyri, the capital of northern Iceland.

Day 3: Lake Mývatn
Make your way to Lake Mývatn. Renowned for its unique geological features and rich birdlife, this stunning lake is characterized by the volcanic craters, lava fields, and hot springs which surround it.
Then its on to Dettifoss, one of Europe's largest waterfalls.

Day 4: East Fjords
Journey from Egilsstaðir to the East Fjords, renowned for their isolation and stunning landscapes.
This area is Iceland's least populated, with only about 3% of the total population residing in farms and small fishing villages. Enjoy the scenic drive amidst steep mountains and the vast ocean and marvel at waterfalls cascading down sheer cliffs.

Day 5: South coast
Near Höfn lies the Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon, where large icebergs break off from the main glacier and float in the lagoon, forming abstract shapes of white and blue.
Pass through Vatnajökull National Park to see this marvel, then continue on to the unique black sand beaches of the south.

Day 6: Golden Circle
The first visit of the day is the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls. The next stop is the geothermal area around Geysir, where you'll witness the active geyser Strokkur erupting every five minutes - a truly fascinating phenomenon.
You'll then continue to Þingvellir National Park and the Þingvellir Rift Valley, where you can see the edges of the tectonic plates and the site where the oldest parliament still in operation was founded by Viking settlers in 930 AD.
