If you choose a low-cost airline, you will be able to add your baggage during the booking process. For domestic flights, airlines do not always offer the option of reserving baggage, so you will have to pay for it at the airport counter. - Car hire for 7 or 9 nights with unlimited mileage, CDW, theft protection and VAT (VW Golf or similar)
- Minimum age: 20 years old to rent a car, 23 years old to rent a car of category 5.0 or higher
- Pick-up and drop-off of the vehicle: Keflavik airport, on the day of arrival and the day of departure
- The driver must hold a valid driving licence for at least one year at the time of hire.
- A valid driver's licence from the United States, Canada or the European Union is required to drive in Iceland. A licence from another country may be used if it: a) has a valid licence number, b) shows the licence holder's photograph, c) is printed in the Latin alphabet and d) is valid at the time of travel. - The package price is based on 7 or 9 nights of 24-hour rental from the time of hire. Reykjavik
As the northernmost capital in the world, Reykjavík enjoys a unique atmosphere few other capitals can match. Overlooked to the north by the volcanic range Esja, this picturesque city is the perfect place for a laid-back break or one filled with action!
Laugavegur is the beating heart of the city, a street brimming with bars, restaurants, and boutique shops - stop by one of the cosy cafés to try Icelandic favourites such as rye bread with toppings like herring or trout. If you’re looking to soak up some culture, visit the Reykjavík Art Museum to see modern art by Icelandic artists, or the National Museum of Iceland to dive into the city’s Viking roots.
