This tour will take you through the heart of India Beginning and ending in Delhi, picking up culinary secrets along the way and sampling flavours, scents and textures that you'll never forget. You will visit the famous Golden Triangle which includes Agra and Jaipur, taking in sights such as the iconic Taj Mahal and the Amber Fort.
Your Itinerary —
Arrival at New Delhi international airport. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, you will be met by a representative and transferred to Hilton Garden Inn, Gurgaon. Gurgaon is part of the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi. It is within commuting distance of Delhi via the expressway and Delhi Metro and just 10 km from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Enjoy shopping at the malls on M.G. Road, plenty of choices for dining out and entertainment at the unique Kingdom of Dreams.
Dinner and overnight at Hilton Garden Inn, Gurgaon.
Proceed for Delhi sightseeing. Today you will drive to Old Delhi and visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, the bustling markets in Chandni Chowk and drive past the Red Fort. Take a Rickshaw ride. Visit Gandhi Smriti museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and India Gate.In the evening, interact with the chef at your hotel and learn about Indian food and the art of preparing Indian delicacies.

The siren call of Paratha Lane in Old Delhi – where food vendors make and sell parathas on the pavement in front of their tiny one-room cafes, stalls offer jewel-like fruit and vegetables, and smoke drifts from a thousand woks – is entirely seductive. It is exactly where you want to be.
Transfer to airport to board flight for Udaipur. On arrival, you will be met at Udaipur airport and then transfer to Hotel. Udaipur has a stunning location with a rich cultural background and a great history. Rest of the day is free at leisure.

Proceed for Udaipur sightseeing. Walk through Old city. Visit city palace, Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Courtyard of the Maidens), Pratap memorial, drive past Fateh Sagar Lake. Boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 6 - UDAIPUR – JAIPUR (FLIGHT SG 2624 / 0945 – 1045 HRS)
Transfer to airport to board flight for Jaipur. On arrival, you will be met at Jaipur airport and then transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at Ikaki Niwas, one of the most adorable homestays in Rajasthan.
The romance, artistry and sheer magnificence of India’s cultural heritage is encapsulated by the Taj Mahal and the great forts and palaces of Rajasthan. Jaipur and Udaipur are stage sets that conjure up storybook India, a land where fabulously wealthy Hindu kings fought and loved and indulged their fondness for pomp and ceremony.
Visit Amer, ancient capital of Amber to explore the fabulous Amber Fort. Also visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory and have a photo stop outside Hawa Mahal, the ‘Palace of Winds’. Later, accompanied by your host, visit the local vegetable market and hone your haggling skills as you buy local produce. Along with your host, you will cook the produce you bought under expert supervision. Then enjoy your home-cooked meal with your hosts.

Drive to Agra. En route to Agra, visit Umaid lake palace, a quaint place in rural Rajasthan at Kalakho. Participate in the cooking demonstration at Umaid lake palace and enjoy the lunch you helped to cook. This evening, visit the lawns of Mehtab Bagh, the garden situated on the banks of river Yamuna flowing behind Taj Mahal. Mehtab Bagh offers a very different perspective to the Taj, which is lit by the brilliance of the setting sunset.

Early this morning, visit the majestic Taj Mahal - the pinnacle of Mughal architecture, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan (1628-1658), in the memory of his queen Arjumand Bano Begum, entitled ‘Mumtaz Mahal’. Also visit The Red fort – A UNESCO world heritage site and another prominent example of Mughal architecture. Next visit the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah and this place has special place in the chronicles of both history as well as architecture. This is precisely the very first tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. Later in the day, make a visit to an Indian home for a cookery lesson and Lunch.
Overnight at Four Points by Sheraton
The Taj has been so hyped through time that seeing it seems destined to be an anti-climax. But it isn't. The tomb's whiteness, its symmetry, its curves, majestic scale and exquisite detail are unreal.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. Just as you enter Delhi, we make a stop at Akshardham temple - The temple displays the soul of Indian culture, civilization, traditions and spirituality.
Transfer to airport to board flight back to the UK.
