Your itinerary in detail —
Day 1-3
Day 1: Upon arrival, collect your luggage and your airport representative will meet you at the arrival lounge. You will be meeting your tour guide at the arrival lounge, who will be accompanying you throughout your tour from day 1-8. You will then be transferred to your hotel with the allocated private vehicle. Check in at the hotel & relax.
Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel get ready to transfer to Sigiriya. En route, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple. Also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, comprised of 5 caves and a picturesque facade carved into the side of a steep rock face, Dambulla Cave Temple houses ancient paintings depicting the Buddha and his life.
Home to the famous Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Iron Wood Forest, and the Rose Quartz Mountain Range, Dambulla provides historical adventures and breathtaking sights in a region UNESCO has designated the Cultural Triangle.
After visiting Dambulla, proceed to Sigiriya. Visit Minneriya National Park/Kaudulla National Park or Eco Park if you wish to have a Jeep Safari in any of the above National Parks. Or check into the hotel to rest & relax.
If you wish to enjoy a Jeep Safari, be ready at the National Park Ticketing Office by 2.30pm. You will be able to leave the park by 5.30pm after the safari. And then proceed to the hotel.
Optional: Jeep Safari to Minneriya National Park/Kaudulla National Park/ Eco Park These national parks in Habarana are the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers of elephants.
Day 3: Visit a scenic village, shaded on either side by a shrub forest. Head out to an indigo reservoir, home to cormorants, butterflies and dragonflies. Optionally, you could climb the Sigiriya Lion’s rock fortress. Lion's rock, is a large stone and ancient rock fortress and palace ruin in the central Dambulla of Sri Lanka, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. A popular tourist destination, Sigiriya is also renowned for its ancient paintings (frescos) which are reminiscent of the Ajanta Caves of India. It is one of the seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. It is also declared by UNESCO as the 8th Wonder of the World.
Then enjoy a Cycling Tour & Village experience in Sigiriya. If you feel tired to cycle after climbing down from Sigiriya, you have the option to go by Tuk Tuk. The guide will accompany you on the village tour. Enjoy a scenic Catamaran ride in the reservoir, a relaxing trip with plenty of nature and wildlife with the guidance of an expert. You can experience traditional village life and a walk through the village and vegetable crops in the area.
Day 4-7
Day 4: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy. En route, visit the Ayurvedic Village in Matale Ayurvedic Village.
Once you reached Kandy, you can visit the largest Botanical Garden in Sri Lanka, the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden.
Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In 2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for its collection of orchids.
Day 5: After breakfast, Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - a revered pilgrimage site and an architectural marvel known for its stunning design and intricate woodwork.
After the Temple of the Tooth visit you can enjoy a city tour in Kandy.
City tour and shopping are nestled amidst verdant hills, interspersed by the Mahaweli River and the beautiful Kandy Lake as a centrepiece, Kandy is certainly the most picturesque city on the island and most visited. Still retains much of its old-world charm and traditions, crafts, and the typical Sri Lankan way of life. Visit Batik and Wood carving centre. Get an insight into local crafts and arts, or finely cut gems, you are likely to find them in Kandy to your heart’s content.
Day 6: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Nuwara-Eliya by driving through the misty mountains. Visit a lush tea plantation, and get an insight into the true art of growing and producing this favourite brew. Nuwara-Eliya is a scenic hill station in Sri Lanka's central highlands, famous for its cool climate, tea plantations, and colonial architecture.
Day 7: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Yala. Once you reach Yala, check in to the hotel and then get ready for the Yala Jeep Safari for a chance to see these magnificent creatures.
The second-largest national park in Sri Lanka, Yala is situated in the Southeast part of the island in the dry, semi-arid climate region, bordering the Indian Ocean. The number of mammals recorded at Yala is as high as 44 while it also boasts one of the highest leopard densities in the world. None other than the majestic Sri Lankan elephant and the leopard, take pride in place at this amazing national park.
Day 8-11/13
Day 8-10/Day 8-12: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to your beach hotel. One of Sri Lanka’s must-see attractions, this ancient citadel is packed with history and charm. Learn how the largest living fort in Asia was built, walk along the ramparts and take in panoramic views of the fort, harbour, and crystal-clear waters below. Meet descendants from the original merchant families. Experience the island’s fascinating boutiques and museums with colonial antiques to restaurants.
Day 11/13: Your journey has come to an end, it's time to head to the airport for your return flight.

Negombo is a coastal city located about 37km north of Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital. It is home to a large fishing community that has been in operation for centuries, making it a hub for fresh seafood. The city is also famous for its long, sandy beach, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Negombo has a rich history, and visitors can explore landmarks such as the Dutch Fort and the St. Mary's Church. Additionally, the city is located close to Bandaranaike International Airport, making it a convenient place to start or end a trip to Sri Lanka.
Kandy
Kandy is the former royal capital of Ceylon, and was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988. The city is renowned for its iconic Temple of the Tooth, which is said to contain the tooth of Buddha. Don't miss the gorgeous botanical gardens of Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, with its astonishing collection of orchids, just 5.5 km to the west of Kandy city.
