Upon arrival at Bergen airport, you will take a bus transfer to the Bergen city bus terminal (ticket included), just 650 metres from your hotel.
Bergen is the second largest city in Norway and the only city in the world surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords. Places of interest include the Hanseatic Bryggen harbour, the Fløibanen funicular, Troldhaugen museum, the Bergen aquarium, and Gamle Bergen (old Bergen open-air museum).
You will spend two nights at Hotel Zander K or similar.
Deep fjords, steep mountains, and powerful waterfalls will greet you on your journey towards Mostraumen. After departing Bergen, you will enjoy views of the city’s port and the famous Bryggen, the old city of Bergen.
This spectacular excursion from Bergen takes you to Osterfjorden, a 27km long fjord, in the province of Hordaland. The most concealed area in this prodigious fjord is Modalen, the second smallest municipality in Norway with around 380 inhabitants. Along the way, we will visit a waterfall where you can try some fresh mountain water before returning to Modalen. The boats are modern and comfortable and feature spacious terraces and kiosks (meals not included).
NOTE: You must make your own way to and from the boat’s departure point. It is just a 12-minute walk from your hotel.
Private transfer from the hotel to the port (pick-up time: 11:30)
The ship arrives in Stavanger at 7:00 pm. There are kiosks and restaurants on board (food not included). Transfer by bus from the port to the terminal of the city of Stavanger (arrival at 20: 05h).
NOTE: You will need to take a bus from Stavanger pier to the hotel (departures every 30 minutes) The bus stop is a 6-minute walk from the hotel.
Stavanger, the fourth largest city in Norway, boasts an excellent collection of terraced houses, cobblestone streets, winding alleys, and colourful markets. One of the highlights of Stavanger is the old town (Gamle Stavanger), with well-preserved 18th Century architecture.
You will spend 2 nights at the Clarion Hotel Stavanger or similar.
Departure at 11: 00h until April or at 10:00h during the summer (subject to change).
This tour will take you on a three-hour cruise passing Pulpit Rock and an impressive cast of waterfalls, idyllic islands, and magnificent landscapes. This boat features a sunbathing terrace and a kiosk (meals not included).
NOTE: The boat departure point is a 9-minute walk from the hotel.
Day 5: Stavanger / Return
Transfer by bus to Stavanger airport. Return to UK.
