Day 4 - 6: Durban, Hlujluwe & Swaziland
Day 4: Cape Town - Durban

Drop off your rental car at Cape Town airport and check in for your flight to Durban.

Explore Durban, the capital of the Natal region, at your leisure. A city with a subtropical climate, it remains a famous seaside resort for South Africans. Durban is also the largest city in the Kwazulu Natal province and the third largest city in South Africa after Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Day 5: Durban - Hlujluwe
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Maputaland, a large sugar cane region with fields of sugar cane visible from the road, as well as colossal eucalyptus and fir plantations. All the land in Maputaland is under the guardianship of "King Zulu".
It is the perfect natural setting for private reserves. The Zulus arrived in this area in the early 17th century. They planted cereals that they brought with them, and lived by hunting. Maize was brought to them by Portuguese traders. Elephants were very common in this area during the time of the Nguni people. For the Zulu people, the elephant is "Ndlovu", or sacred. But King Shaka Zulu came to know and appreciate the white man's passion for ivory!

Day 6: Hlujluwe - Swaziland
Departure for your game drive in the reserve.
Return to the hotel and have breakfast.
Drive to Swaziland, a small independent kingdom. The current King H.M. KING MSWATI III was crowned in April 1986.
Swaziland owes its picturesque character to the prevention of its traditions, habitats, ceremonies, and political institutions. The language of the country is Siswati.
This is traditional Africa. Most of the inhabitants still go to consult the "Inyanga", a witch doctor, or the "Sangoma", a traditional healer.

Day 7 - 10: Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon & Johannesburg

Make the most of your holiday by making use of the included car rental for the duration of your stay! Depending on the number of guests in your group, you will be able to avail of three different types of vehicles which are: Category C "Toyota Corolla/manual" (or similar) - 1 to 3 people maximum. Category K "Toyota Urban cruiser/ automatic" (or similar) - 4 people maximum. Category P "T6 VW KOMBI/ automatic" (or similar) - 5 to 7 people maximum. Required: An international driving license is required for all vehicle rentals. Credit card required (in the name of the driver) - A fee of around ZAR 3,925 will be deducted at the beginning of the rental and returned at the end of the rental.

The Cape Town City tour will take you through the picturesque Malaysian neighborhood, and charming low-rise pastel houses - The BOKAAP Museum gives a good idea of the lifestyle of a Malay family. Next, you will visit the Castle of Good Hope, one of the oldest European buildings in South Africa. Then it is onto Climbing Table Mountain by cable car: This can only be done on days when the mountain is not covered by clouds or hidden in dense fog!
Optional Guided Tour of Cape Town Peninsula with Included Lunch (Full-day)
Departure to the wine route, the region of the famous South African vineyards where imposing mountains dominate fertile valleys in which are nestled wonderful properties and mansions imbued with Cape Dutch architecture. Visit Stellenbosch, the main town of the wine region, which today includes over 100,000 hectares of vineyards. Cape wines have long since acquired a worldwide reputation.
It is in this region that you will see many Cape Dutch-style houses. Wine tasting at the winery. Drive to Franschhoek, the "French corner". It is in this beautiful valley that the French Huguenots with the Dutch settlers started in the 17th century the culture of the vine. Visit the city with the museum of the Huguenots and the region.
Kruger Safari - Optional Sunrise Safari
Kruger Park is one of the largest nature reserves on the continent. It is home to 300 different species of trees, 450 birds, 106 mammals and a variety of fish, snakes, iguanas and turtles.
