Johannesburg
Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by a staff member who will help you collect your rental car. Drive to your hotel (+- 40 minutes)

Immerse yourself in Johannesburg's unique atmosphere! This cosmopolitan South African city offers great cultural diversity and a vibrant mood. At the Apartheid Museum, you will learn more about the inequalities that can prevail in the city and the country which is an essential element to better understanding the country's intriguing history.
A visit to Soweto, South Africa's largest township, should not be missing from your programme either. You can follow in Nelson Mandela's footsteps, as his former home there has been turned into a museum.

Transfer day: Hazyview - Kruger National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Hazyview, a drive of about 5 hours. You will drive via the picturesque village of Dullstroom where you can stop for a light meal or a cup of coffee.

Kruger National Park
Your day in Kruger National Park
You will start your day with a full-day private game drive in Kruger National Park before dawn. Around 5 am, you will set off in an open safari vehicle that will take you on no less than 10% of the park's 2,294 km of roads open to the public. You will make a breakfast stop and at the same time, you will have a chance to browse around the shops t the rest stops. After breakfast, you will continue your search for the 147 mammal species, 507 bird species and 114 reptile species that live in the park. With a bit of luck, you'll also spot the shy leopard.

After lunch, you will drive slowly towards the park exit.

Transfer day Kruger National Park - Swaziland
After an early breakfast, drive towards Swaziland (+ - 3.5 hours)
Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, is a small kingdom completely landlocked by South Africa with a hugely diverse range of attractions and activities. As one of the few remaining monarchies in Africa, culture and heritage is deeply rooted in all aspects of Swazi life, making for an unforgettable experience for anyone visiting the country. In addition to the rich culture, the overwhelming friendliness of the people makes all visitors feel truly welcome and very safe. Add to this the beautiful scenery of mountains and valleys, forests and plains, wildlife parks a fascinating mix of modern and traditional festivals, ceremonies and events, and you have the best of Africa concentrated in one country.

Transfer day Swaziland - Hluhluwe
After breakfast, the tour continues towards Hluhluwe, about 3.5 hours away.
If you are staying at the Ghost Mountain Inn, a cultural excursion is scheduled later in the day (between 16:00 and 18:00). We will visit a local homestead, where you can meet a Myeni family. Afterwards, we take another tour of the Lebombo Mountains with awe-inspiring views.

Mkuze and Durban
Your day in Hluhluwe
You will spend the first part of the day exploring Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, Africa's oldest park, located about 65 km away.
Around 3 pm, you will take a 3-4-hour boat trip on the Jozini reservoir, located at the foot of the Lebombo Mountains. There are several beautiful gorges with a wide variety of birds. On the west side of the dam, you can often see elephants, rhinos, hippos and crocodiles.

Transfer day Hluhluwe - Durban
Time to set course for yet another last destination on the programme, Durban (+ - 3 hours). The rest of the day is yours to explore the city, with a population of around 600,000.

Final day
