Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-4
Day 1: Upon arrival, you will be met by a representative from Sense of Africa who will assist you in collecting your rental vehicle. With the directions provided, drive to Hyatt House in Johannesburg (approx. 40 minutes).
Then you can head off and explore, Johannesburg. Informally known as Jozi, Joburg, or "The City of Gold", it is the largest city in South Africa!

Day 2: After breakfast, depart to Sabi River Sun in Hazyview (approx. 5 hours). Drive via the scenic village of Dullstroom where you can stop for a light meal or a cup of coffee. Situated in South Africa’s beautiful Mpumalanga Province, the quaint village of Dullstroom is known for its excellent fishing opportunities and fresh country air. Aptly named, Dullstroom (‘stroom’ meaning stream) enjoys an abundance of water, marking the beginning of the Crocodile River and home to other major tributaries.
Surrounded by subtropical fruit orchards, Hazyview is a small farming town and a gateway to the southern part of the Kruger National Park and the Panorama Escarpment. The town and its spectacularly scenic surroundings, serve as a popular adventure capital with a remarkable array of exhilarating outdoor activities on offer to suit all ages, tastes and fitness levels. Hazyview has something for just about everyone!

Day 3: After an early morning breakfast, you can discover this beautiful part of the world with the optional Panorama Tour to discover Blyderiver Canyon, which is 60 km long and is the third-largest canyon in the world.

Day 4: After breakfast, you can discover the forest floor with The Graskop Gorge Lift Co. with the option. The gorge is centrally located on the Panorama Route and is an ideal stop over point, whether it be for the view, the forest or beautiful walks on the forest floor, the food or the various adventure activities.

Day 5-9
Day 5: After breakfast, depart to Komati River Chalets in Komatipoort (approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes) Malalane is a farming town in Mpumalanga, South Africa situated on the N4 national highway. It is situated approximately 40 minutes from Komatipoort. The farms in the region produce sugarcane, subtropical fruit and winter vegetables. The town was proclaimed in 1949 after which it was named. The origin of the name is disputed but was corrupted from the swazi. Either the expression "eMlalani" which means place of the palms, or the expression "lala" which means to sleep is accepted origins of the name. The town started as the first rest-stop between Lourenço Marques and Pretoria. As of July 2007 the town was officially renamed from "Malelane" to "Malalane" as part of the governments renaming scheme by the South African Geographical Names Council.

Day 6: Why not choose the optional game drive in Kruger National Park? During the day, you will use less than 10% of the 2 294 km of roads open to the public in the Park. All roads lead to somewhere interesting and offer you the chance to enjoy the diversity of wildlife the Kruger has on offer!

Day 7: On this day, you can opt the tour of Swaziland to explore the ‘Kingdom of eSwatini’ still referred to as Swaziland. This tiny landlocked nation boasts a rich historical and cultural heritage and is Africa's last remaining absolute monarchy. Swaziland encompasses a diverse array of ecosystems featuring towering mountains and low-lying savannahs, tangled rainforests and lush river valleys.

Day 8: After breakfast depart back to Johannesburg (approx. 5 hours). En-route to Johannesburg you can stop at Millys, a Farm Stall and Restaurant serving an array of meals and well known for their famous trout pies.

Day 9: Your tour has come to an end... After breakfast, depart to OR Tambo International Airport where you return your rental vehicle and catch your flight home!

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, make the most of included car hire with your booking. Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.
