Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-5: Cape Town & Train Journey
Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a local representative and transferred to the Cape Milner Hotel, located at the foot of the majestic Table Mountain. Enjoy the sunny pool or explore the surrounding area. Enjoy the symmetry of Art Deco and the ornamental details of Cape Town's Victorian heritage, with touches of African urban design and vibrant colours.

Days 2 to 4: Cape Town
You will be free to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area on your own. You can explore the Cape Peninsula on a day trip, optional for an extra cost on day 2. You can also explore the Cape Winelands on a day trip, optional with a supplement on day 3. Finally, enjoy the highlights of Cape Town on a day tour, optional at an extra cost on day 3.

Day 5: Boarding the Blue Train
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cape Town station where you will check in for the Blue Train at approximately 10.00 am. Since 1946, the Blue Train has offered a unique way to experience the beautiful landscapes and sights of southern Africa. Boarding begins at 11.15 am. Once on board, luxury takes on a new dimension: butlers, fine dining, elegant lounges: it's all there!

Day 6-8: Train Journey and Johannesburg
Day 6: On board the Blue Train
Today, you will continue your journey aboard the iconic Blue Train. Enjoy a nice breakfast and some rest before continuing to enjoy the local cuisine thanks to the delicious lunch. Afternoon, visit the Open Mine Museum for a tour of the mine.
Back on board, you will be welcomed with an engraved glass of sherry, which you may keep as a memento of this fantastic train journey. The Blue Train leaves Kimberley Station for the northern journey to Pretoria. After this exciting tour, guests are welcome to freshen up and enjoy an aperitif in one of the lounges. You will end your day with a delicious dinner on board the train.

Day 7: Arrival in Johannesburg
You will enjoy another breakfast and lunch on board the Blue Train and arrive at Pretoria train station at 6:00 pm. Your transfer will then take you to your hotel in Johannesburg.

After breakfast, it is time to check out and your transfer will take you to the airport for your return flight.
