Despite Chicago’s nickname as the Windy City, between April and October you can expect warm and welcoming weather: perfect for enjoying the city’s many parks and beaches. Take in a free concert at the huge Millenium Park – home of “the Bean” – or enjoy a stroll on the 606, a former railway track turned urban oasis. Go waterside at the Riverwalk to admire some of Chicago’s dazzling architecture or stretch out at Lincoln Park, making sure to stop by at the world-famous Lincoln Park Zoo.
If you’re in the mood to simply kick back in the sun, head to one of the city’s glorious beaches. Oak Street and Rainbow beaches are both local favourites, while Helen Doria is the perfect sandy spot to beat the crowds. If you’re feeling active, many beaches offer kayaking, windsurfing and a range of other water sports, or perhaps some high-energy beach volleyball will wake you from your lakeside slumber.

Choice of hotels very well. Well chosen course. It's a bit of a race every day but it's feasible and especially in beautiful landscapes. September period ideal for the weather throughout the trip.
