Villa Maria Hotel & Spa 4* is located in the middle of a pine forest. Surrounded by pine and olive trees, it is nestled on a small hill 1.5 km from the sea where you can enjoy panoramic views of  the Adriatic Sea.

The rooms are spacious, bright and decorated with nature in mind, offering stunning views of the surrounding pine forest.

Villa Maria Hotel & Spa 4* has an indoor pool located inside the Wellness Centre "Linfa" and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by old pine and olive trees where you can relax and enjoy the water to cool off. There is also a private beach!

La Pinetina Restaurant (Summer season only)

With it's welcoming atmosphere and beautiful views overlooking the park, guests will delight in the exquisite dining at the hotel restaurant, "La Pinetina", located On the ground floor of Villa Maria Hotel & Spa 4*, with its impressive seasonal menus of fish and meat, accompanied of course by a refined wine selection of the local territory.

The restaurant is open for dinner all year long, from 19,30 to 22.00 p.m, it is always open at lunch time from April to October from 12.30 to 14.00 p.m. (it is closed from Monday to Friday from October to April).

Why not dine al-fresco and enjoy dinner outdoors - the restaurant extends to the hotel's park, where guests will be able to feast on delicious local cuisine (and also grilled specialities from the barbecue) while surrounded by the fragrance of sea-pine trees.

The outdoor restaurant is open in the Summer from June to September at lunch and dinner time.

 The Terrace
Enjoy your coffee with an outstanding view of the Adriatic Sea, at the Terrace. Furnished with small basket armchairs and elegant coffee tables, and surrounded by shrubbery, the Terrace makes a perfect space for starting the day off in the sun, especially during spring and summer time, as breakfast is served here.

Lobby Bar
Overlooking the hotel park, the Lobby Bar provides a fantastic space for those looking to unwind with a refreshing drink and a lovely view.

During the summer a free shuttle service is offered to guests, taking them to the beautifully sandy private beach, in Francavilla al Mare, just 1.5km from the hotel. You'll be supplied with a large umbrella, a couple of relaxing deckchairs and beach towels, to make the most of your beach day out! WiFi is also available on the beach, and a playground is open for little ones to enjoy! Soak up the sun and enjoy delicious aperitifs from the bar and restaurant service provided inside the beach, available during lunchtime and evenings too.

Transfers:

It may be possible to add return transfers at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability).

 

For inbound transfer arrangements please confirm with your transfer provider when you arrive. Alternatively, please check with the reception of your accommodation. If you still require assistance, please call the transfer provider directly. 

Car Hire:

For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival).

 

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Other fees may be applicable in addition to the cost of your car rental for any additional products added to your car rental.

If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Italy. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Italian Foreign Ministry.

Health

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip. In the event that you are referred to a medical facility for treatment, you should contact your insurance/medical assistance company immediately. 


Please note that passport, visa and health requirements can change. It is every traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, any required visas, and all the necessary vaccinations/health requirements as well as adequate insurance. 

Brexit 
If you are travelling to the EU, the UK government recommends that you have six months left on your passport on the date of your arrival to an EU country. You should also check when your passport was renewed.

If you renewed a 10-year adult passport before it expired, extra months may have been added to your passport’s expiry date. These extra months over 10 years will not count towards the 6 months that must be remaining. Coronavirus (COVID-19)

As of October 18th 2020, the UK Government has confirmed that Italy has been removed from the safe travel list, therefore 14 days of self-isolation quarantine upon reentering the UK will be mandatory upon return from Sunday 18th October at 4am. Tourists choosing to book stopover flights may not be permitted to return without quarantining if the country they stop off in is not also listed as green/amber by the UK Government. Please note that this information is constantly being reviewed and may be subject to change.

If travellers have visited Croatia, Greece, Malta or Spain within 14 days of their arrival in Italy, they have to present proof of a negative PCR test that's no older than 72 hours OR take a test upon arrival and quarantine in the hotel while waiting for the results. All travellers visiting the island of Sardinia must have the results of a negative PCR test on arrival that's less than 48 hours old. 

The Italian Government requires all travellers from the UK to show they have taken a test within 72 hours of arrival along with a negative result. Those unable to provide evidence will be able to take a test in Italy. If tested positive, you will be required to quarantine. Please note that travellers will be required to present a negative PCR test (48h) on arrival and signal themselves to the authority online.
