Your Itinerary —
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city centre to check in. Relax after a long journey. Note: Hotel check-in time: 14:00. Early check-in is not included

Day 2: Hanoi - City Tour (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, you will visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh - the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from outside on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoon due to closure), and the house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda. Next up, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology museum where display artefacts of 54 minority people in Vietnam, followed by Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in the 11th century. After the visits, return to the Old Quarter of Hanoi for a walking tour around 36 streets.

After breakfast, you will depart by road to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of Red River and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, the daily life of the Vietnamese village. Arrive in Ha Long and board a traditional junk. Enjoy lunch on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting the Surprising Cave. Later on the junk move to docking area for an overnight stay. Notes: This itinerary is subject to change due to boat availability or weather condition.

In the morning, your brunch will be served while doing a further cruise to explore the beauty of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. The junk continues cruising toward Ha Long port, where you will get ready to disembark. Our car will be there to pick you up and take you towards Hanoi and directly to the airport for a flight to Hue. After landing in Hue, you will be welcomed by our guide and will check in your hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit the impressive home of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors (1820-1945), the Imperial City and the Royal Citadel. Much of the Citadel was destroyed during the Tet Offensive in 1968 but is gradually being restored. Continue by boat on Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda, Hue's oldest and most beautiful pagoda, thought to be the symbol or religion and spirit of Hue people. After the visit, the car will take you from there to the tomb of King Minh Mang. Lunch will be at your own expense followed by a visit to the tomb of King Khai Dinh.

Day 6: Hue - Hoi An (Breakfast Included) (125 km / 3.5 hour drive)
After breakfast, you will proceed along one of Vietnams most scenic highways to Hoi An (4hr). Stop on the way at the white sands of Lang Co Beach and at the top of the Hai Van Pass. On arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Lunch will be taken at your own expense. In the afternoon, you will walk around the tiny town of Hoi An with a stop at a 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, a 300-year-old Chinese temple, and a 200-year-old Vietnamese former merchants’ house.

Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City - Half Day City Tour (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, you will be free in Hoi An until you meet our driver and proceed to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, meet our guide and start a half day city tour. Visit the moving War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting, view of the American War, as it is known in Vietnam. Continue to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the Indochina Governor-General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975. The day ends with a visit to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City - Vung Tau (Breakfast Included) (121 km / 2.5 hour drive)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet our driver at 09:00 AM for a 2.5 hours drive to Vung Tau. Upon arrival, check in your resort and chill out on the beach.

Day 14: Vung Tau - Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (Breakfast Included) (115 km / 2.5 hour drive)
You will be free today until check out time when you will meet our driver (no guide) for the journey back to Ho Chi Minh City in good time to connect to your departure flight. Note: Hotel check-out time: 12:00. Late check-out is excluded.
