Your Hotel —
Throughout the hotel grounds, great attention has been paid to landscaping with an abundance of flowers and trees adding to the natural beauty of the setting. Due to the spectacular setting of the retreat, steps are a feature of the property, from the pool there are approximately 100 steps down to the waterfront and steps link all other areas of the retreat, including the rooms. A collection of beaches forms the edge of the watersports area and a shallow sand bar allows access to the sailing beach on the tiny island of Mourtemeno just opposite.
The Neilson Retreat also offers a range of exciting activities absolutely free of charge, including free tuition and free children clubs (2-17 years), guaranteeing an action packed break!

One of the most enjoyable aspects of your holiday is al fresco dining, with the sea, beach and gardens providing a stunning backdrop to your dining experience. The healthy lifestyle of Neilson holidays is reflected in the meals carefully prepared by the professional chefs.
On non-inclusive evenings, you are free to explore the local restaurants or you may prefer to stay at the club and enjoy a bar snack or bistro evening at the hotel's restaurant or bar.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am. There is a choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, cereals, freshly made bread, local cheeses and preserves, as well as a variety of hot options cooked to order, such as pancakes and omelettes. If you fancy a lie-in, a continental style breakfast of tea, coffee, juice and pastries will still be available until 11am
Lunch
The extensive lunchtime buffet served from 12pm to 2pm allows you the flexibility to enjoy a quick snack or a full sit down meal in the al fresco dining area. As an alternative, staff are happy to prepare you a packed lunch, enabling you to escape to a secluded beach for a picnic with family or friends.
Evening Meal
Buffet style evening meals with a waiter service for drinks are available from 7pm to 9pm. Mineral water, plus tea and coffee are included with all meals. All other drinks are payable locally using a tab system so you don't have to worry about carrying cash around. You can either settle your bill every few days, or leave it until the end of your holiday

Your Time —
For the more energetic, the Retreat is a particularly good option for those looking to enjoy a comprehensive fitness programme. There is often a guided bike ride, fitball, gym and tennis sessions, as well as road bikes, swim coaching, a dedicated triathlon training camp and specialist yoga weeks. One of the most popular activities is to take a kayak and explore the secluded coves surrounding the club. In the afternoon the sailing area extends beyond the island for intermediates to make the most of the breeze further out.
Alternatively, for a supplement you can book a Day Sail where a qualified skipper escorts you during a day of sailing where you can sit and relax or get a taste of yacht sailing under the guidance of the skipper.
As the sun dips in the sky, informal games of volleyball are organised, either in the pool or on the sand court. For those who prefer a gentler pace there is table tennis, boules or maybe a relaxing massage in the spa area before a pre-dinner cocktail.
