Khao Lak is a hidden paradise of sun, sea and sand, as well as lush tropical greenery, Granite Mountains and stunning waterfalls. Crystal blue water, warm tropical nights and cooling breezes from the Andaman Sea provide the ideal atmosphere to relax and unwind. Here you can visit outstanding islands offering splendid corals as well as sea weeds, sea flowers, coral lines and various species of fish. Whatever it is you're after while on holiday there is a good chance you will find it in this beautiful corner of Thailand.
One of Thailand's most popular holiday spots, Koh Samui is famed for its swathes of white sand beaches, crystal clear waters and breathtaking scenery. Mass tourism has brought bustling nightlife and great restaurants, but it is still possible to find a quiet stretch of sand for total escapism. Island hopping is popular too, as are watersports and nature treks. Your hotel is located in Lamai Beach, Koh Samui's second-largest resort area after Chaweng. It is a little more laid back than Chaweng, with a focus on higher end, upmarket resorts, restaurants and shops.
Your Excursions —
Excursions during the transfer between Khaolak and Samui:
- Elephant trekking in Khaosok Park (about 1 hour)
- Canoe trip to Khaosok Park (about 1h30)
- Lunch in a local restaurant (excluding drinks)
From Khao Lak to Samui Island; after breakfast around 8.30-9am, a private transfer will be arranged for trip through Khao Sok National park en-route.
Members will enjoy elephant trekking (approx. 1 - 1.30 Hrs) plus a canoeing trip to Khao Sok River (approx. 1-1.15 Hrs) and have lunch at the local restaurant near the river.
Arrive at Don Sak Pier approx. 3pm and take the local ferry which is approx. 1.15 - 1.30 Hrs. The ferry tickets is included in the package.
Arrive at Nathorn Pier in Koh Samui and then transfer to the hotel Manathai Samui.
Manathai Khao Lak 4* —
