Day 1 - 3
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Touch down in Hanoi, a buzzing city where the old-world charm of French colonial architecture meets modern life. As the cultural heart of Vietnam, Hanoi offers a rich tapestry of history, art, and tradition, all set against the backdrop of serene lakes and tree-lined boulevards.

DAY 2: HANOI
The day begins with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh complex (closed every Monday and Friday), the founder of the nation.
Continue to Van Mieu, the Temple of Literature, which is surrounded by lush manicured gardens. Then be immersed in the vibrant pulse of the busy streets in Hanoi's Old Quarter.

DAY 3: HANOI
Watch the landscape change from plains to verdant mountainous jungle on your way to Sapa, then move on to Ta Giang Phinh, a remote hill tribe village set along a peaceful river where traditional H'mong customs have been carefully preserved.
You will then trek through wild, unspoilt landscapes, with impressive mountains and terraced fields as far as the eye can see.

Days 4 - 6
DAY 4: SAPA
Enjoy the scenic drive to Ha Long Bay, a stunning World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Stop first at Hang Mua for panoramic views of the winding rivers and picturesque rice fields of the Tam Coc region. After, glide through Thung Nham Bird Valley on a sampan ride.
Surrounded by rainforest on the limestone mountains and mysterious caves, Thung Nham is home to many important birds including storks, herons and flamingos.

DAY 5: SAPA - SIN CHAI VILLAGE - HANOI
Find yourself amidst natural splendour in the village of Sin Chai with a landscape of flower-filled valleys and lush rice terraces, as well as vegetable farms and medicinal plant gardens.

DAY 6: HALONG BAY - HANOI - NINH BINH

DAY 7: NINH BINH – HA LONG BAY CRUISE

This afternoon, you will visit the lively Chinatown, known locally as Cho Lon, with its mysterious temples. Then get ready for a memorable tour covering the city's best street food spots.
Please note: The Cu Chi tunnels have been widened in places for Western visitors, but they can still be dark, hot and claustrophobic inside, please take this into account if you don't like enclosed spaces. For those who choose to stay above ground, there are plenty of easily accessible rooms and excavated areas to visit.

Tour of the amazing islands of Nha Trang with an English-speaking guide - minimum 2 people
Nha Trang is known for its fabulous year-round sunny weather, turquoise waters and white sandy beach that stretches the length of the city.
Transfer to the pier for a relaxing cruise to Tam Island for swimming and snorkelling. Continue to Mun (‘Ebony’) Island, named after the black rock formations to the south-east of the island. Enjoy two fully supervised snorkelling dives in the crystal clear waters of this protected marine reserve which are filled with diverse marine life. A light lunch, tea and coffee will then be served on board.
Inside Nha Trang's rural way of life (cycling and cooking)
As well as picturesque beaches, Nha Trang boasts peaceful countryside just waiting to be explored. You will meet your local guide and be transferred by private vehicle to the little-known rural area of Nhatrang.
Hop on your bike and start pedalling (5-7 km) through the village's winding roads while enjoying the idyllic countryside and peaceful views of the rice paddies. Stroll through a local market and head to a local's home for a private cooking class.
