10-Night Tour
Upon arrival, you will be met by a driver and transferred to your hotel in the city centre to check-in. Spend the rest of the day free at leisure, and enjoy an overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta/Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
After breakfast at your hotel, take the road to Vinh Long and visit the Vinh Long Market in town. This is the best opportunity to take photos of fish, shrimp, crabs, snakes, rice field rats, tropical fruits and vegetables. Continue the trip with a boat cruise to visit the local workshops where you will see how to make rice leaves, coconut candies and rice popcorn. Enjoy some candies and a hot cup of tea. Then, you will wander around to visit the orchard and the local family. You will enjoy some fruit and tea while listening to traditional music. Lunch in a fruitful orchard. In the afternoon, continue with a boat trip along the Mekong River and observe many floating cages for fish farming. Then, you will pass the My An canal to see many brick kilns on both sides and return to the Hòa Tịnh canal. You will walk in a peaceful village to see how they make bricks, trays, bamboo baskets and conical hats by hand. Then, take the boat to Cai Be and enjoy a rowing boat ride on the Ba Nam Canal at Tan Phong Island. Return to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City in the mid-afternoon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and check-out. After that, visit the central post office, a remnant of the French colonial era and perhaps the largest post office in Southeast Asia. Located next to the Notre-Dame Saigon Cathedral, these two cultural sites can be visited together and offer visitors the opportunity to imagine life in Vietnam at the time of the Indochinese Empire. Continue your trip with a visit to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the Governor General of Indochina, the President of the Republic of South Vietnam until April 30, 1975. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue your visit to a local food market, a flower market, and a place of residence to observe local life. The last stop of the day is the unforgettable Jade Emperor pagoda. The pagoda is filled with smoky incense and fantastic carved figurines. It was built by the Cantonese community at the end of the 20th century and continues to buzz with the faithful. Transfer to airport for a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 4: Hoi An (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Today, we offer you a glimpse of the country life in the suburbs of Hoi An's old town - an incredible experience of sailing along a peaceful river to the Cam Thanh Coconut Water village. You will observe the way that the local fishermen do round net fishing. This is a good opportunity to learn fishing with locals - a practical and fun experience. Then, we will continue with the discovery of local rice culture. Visit a local family to learn about various farming tools and how to prepare white rice in the traditional way with old hand tools. You will join a small Bánh Xèo cooking class with your host. Lunch with village specialities. Join us, meet friendly people and enjoy interesting experiences. In the afternoon, discover Hoi An, the city that was home to Annam's main trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries, nowadays classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site by hiking around the city and its wonderful harbor. Follow the narrow streets lined with Chinese, Japanese, French and European architecture and visit the many sights: the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the Phuc Kien Meeting Room, the local fish market. Around the city you will be able to see the art galleries and the tailors' shops and why not make tailor-made clothes. You will continue then by visiting the house of a craftsman in the old districts. Here you will have a brief introduction to the history, the origin of the shape and colours of the local lanterns, and will be able to make your own. Overnight in Hoi An.
After breakfast, check-out and take a car trip to Hue via the Hai Van Pass, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the central coastline and Lang Co Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. You will arrive in Hue after 3 hours of driving. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage) including Hat Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace. Overnight in Hue
Day 6: Hue (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll head out for a day of adventure. Situated on the right bank of Perfume River, around 7 km from Hue's centre, Thuy Bieu attracts tourists thanks to its unique and special features on architecture and culture, its peaceful garden houses and its seasonal fruits. Your dragon boat will pick up your group at Toa Kham wharf, before you start cruising on the Perfume River. Stop for a typical visit at the Thien Mu Pagoda, which is a historic temple and the symbol of the romantic city of Hue. You'll then head back to the boat for a scenic cruise to the Hue Ecolodge where a local guide will be ready to welcome you to visit the Thuy Bieu Eco-village, an authentic village that represents the countryside of Hue. Then, depart to Thuy Bieu local market with a local guide, and take time to stroll around and buy the necessary ingredients for a cooking class - Prepare a meal for yourself under the instruction of a chef and learn to cook 3 dishes: Vả fruit mixed shrimp and pork; Banh Ram It (a patty of super-crunchy deep-fried stick rice topped with stir-fried shrimp and pork) and Banh Khoái (a pan-fried crepe that is typically stuffed with shrimp and pork belly). After your practical class, it’s time to taste the traditional dishes that you have prepared while your chef will be able to give his feedback on your own chef skills. Please Note: The market is open till 11 a.m. Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport for a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. On the way, visit the Ethnology Museum (this visit will be replaced by the History Museum on Mondays due to closure), a valuable centre for the exhibition and conservation of cultural achievements of 54 ethnic groups present in Vietnam giving an excellent overview of the cultural richness of Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
After breakfast, you will depart via the road to Ha Long Bay, a world heritage site of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich agricultural lands of the Red River Delta and seek out rice paddy landscapes, water buffaloes, and the daily life of Vietnamese villages. You will arrive at Ha Long Bay after 3 and a half hours of driving. Check-in and enjoy lunch on board. The cruise goes through many rocks and islets in various forms, and make several stops to visit surprising caves. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 9: Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
Why don’t you wake up early for a Tai Chi class at 6.30 am on the terrace? This is a good morning activity, ensuring guests feel in harmony with the wonder of nature. After that, have a light breakfast and set off on a day boat to cruise in Lan Ha Bay passing floating villages, islands and islets. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue cruising and then return to the main boat to spend a second night on board.
In the morning, continue your cruise and discover the beauties of the bay before returning to the dock. The junk will head towards the port of Ha Long Bay. A light lunch aboard the junk in the form of a brunch will close this magnificent cruise. All the crew will come to greet you and thank you when you disembark at the port at about 11 am, where the driver is waiting for you to drive you back to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, check-in your hotel and be free for rest of the day. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Departure from Hanoi (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time on your own until you transfer to the airport for your return flight home.

3-Night Ninh Binh Extension
After breakfast, check-out and take the road to Ha Nam province, which is located about 70km from Hanoi. Arrive at the village after about 90 minutes of driving, and visit a local market and village which is famous for making rice noodles. This village is still not known by mass tourism, so it gives you the opportunity to participate in the work with locals, watching their rural life and chatting with them to understand how they live. Enjoy a light lunch at your host house and sample local products. In the afternoon, continue the road to Ninh Binh. Upon arrival after about 90 minutes of driving, check-in and then take a bike ride around the local villages to see the life of the locals. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 12: Ninh Binh (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
After breakfast, take a bamboo boat for an unforgettable 2 hour boat trip in a beautiful and enchanting natural landscape. You will pass through the 3 caves of Tam Coc which pierce the mountains, a show both sublime and relaxing! You will then visit the Bich Dong Pagoda. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to visit the Phat Diem Cathedral which is located 28km from Ninh Binh city on an area of about 22 ha, and in the village of Phat Diem. It was built in 1891 by a Vietnamese priest, Mr. Pierre Tran Luc, better known as Father Six. This cathedral is peculiar for the architecture of pagodas and communal houses tonkinois. The architectural ensemble of the cathedral includes a large church, five small churches, campanile Phuong Dinh – masterpiece of this architectural ensemble, pond and three artificial rock caves. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, check-out and return to Hanoi. Stop on the way to visit Long Bien Market which is installed under the eponymous bridge and is the most fascinating market in the city. This market is ranked by the US magazine Condé Nast Traveler in its list of the 7 most attractive markets in the world. Then visit the Long Bien Bridge, formerly called Paul Doumer Bridge, a famous bridge in northern Vietnam to cross the Red River. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s First University), Tran Quoc Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake and then a 45-minute cyclo ride around the Old quarters. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 14: Departure from Hanoi (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time on your own until you transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
