Your Itinerary —
During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.
After a long flight, you will arrive at Vietnam's nearly thousand-year-old capital – Hanoi. Meet & transfer to city. Check in hotel. The rest of the day is free. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi (Breakfast)
In the morning, take a half-day city tour to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (totally closed from September to November for annual maintenance), HCM wooden stilt house, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature and a walking tour of the Old Quarter. The afternoon is free (optional tours are available at additional charge) Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
In the morning take the road to Halong (shuttle bus with driver only). Embark the boat for a cruise around Halong Bay. Lunch, dinner and overnight on board. Overnight at Junk in Halong.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Night train to Hue. (Brunch)
In the morning continue the boat cruise around Halong Bay with brunch on board. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi (shuttle bus with driver only). Arrive in the evening, transfer to Hanoi railway station for overnight train to Hue. On train 1st class (Shared cabin)
Arrive in Hue, meet at the railway station & transfer to hotel. Lunch with Hue specialities at a local restaurant. Afternoon, visit the Hue Citadel and Royal Antique Museum.
Day 6: Hue – Hoi An. (Breakfast)
Morning, take a boat trip on Huong river to Thien Mu pagoda then drive to Hoi An Ancient town. Afternoon, take a walking tour to explore this World Heritage Site. Highlights include an ancient merchant house, the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the vibrant riverside market.
Transfer to airport for a flight to HCMC. Meet and transfer to the hotel upon arrival.
Note: The flight time and flight number of DANANG – HO CHI MINH CITY (DAD-SGN) is subject to change and it would fall on the morning or afternoon of the day.
Day 8: HCM City half day sightseeing. (Breakfast)
In the morning, visit the Reunification Palace (photo stop), the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Chinatown, local market and either the Thien Hau Temple or the Quan Am Pagoda. The afternoon is free. (Optional tours are available at additional charge).
Day 9: HCMC – Departure
Either transfer to the Cambodia extension or to the airport.
Optional 4-night Extension in Cambodia —
After breakfast, be picked up at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh city and transferred to the bus station to take a SIC BUS from Saigon to Phnom Penh. Arrive at the bus station in Phnom Penh where the guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel to check in.
Day 10: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (Breakfast)
Visit some of the capital’s most impressive sites including the National Museum, the Silver Pagoda containing the Emerald Buddha statue and the Royal Palace. Transfer to the bus station and take a SIC BUS from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Siem Reap is your base for exploring the ancient temples of Angkor. This amazing ruined city, built between the 9th and the 13th centuries, deep in the Cambodian jungle is spread out over some 60 square miles, scattered with walled cities and magnificent stone temples, sculptures, causeways and reservoirs. Arrive in Siem Reap, meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Enter Angkor Thom via the Southern Gate and explore the ancient city. Then proceed to visit the ruins at Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, the Elephant Terrace and the Leper King Terrace. On the way back, swing by the Ta Prohm Temple which is mystically enveloped in the jungle. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent Angkor Wat. Explore its extraordinary architecture for an opportunity to experience a spectacular sunset over the monuments. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12: Siem Reap (Breakfast)
Full day at leisure. (Optional tours are available at additional charge) Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 13: Siem Reap – Departure (Breakfast)
Free until transfer to the airport for departure flight.
