The Coach House at Middleton Lodge is a Georgian country retreat, based in 200 acres of rural North Yorkshire. Transforming the estate’s old carriage house into an award-winning restaurant and hotel.
The restaurant’s seasonal menu, created by head chef Gareth Rayner, is inspired by the surrounding Yorkshire countryside and uses the very best locally sourced produce. The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays - the hotel will happily assist with arranging alternative places to eat on these days.
The stylish interiors take a contemporary approach to a country retreat, with nine individually designed bedrooms and an additional five at the 18th century Farmhouse, the perfect place to rest your head after a day of adventure.
Guests can also indulge at The Treatment Rooms, with wraps, massages and facials available from exclusive skincare brand’s Ren and VOYA.

Restaurant
Gareth Rayner's seasonal menu takes a rustic approach to well loved British dishes, using the very best locally sourced produce. Vegan and vegetarian menus are available.
The restaurant is located in the old carriage house of Middleton Lodge, with the original plasterwork, exposed bricks, cast iron hay racks and small markings from the horses and coaches all beautifully restored.
Please note: The restaurant is closed Monday & Tuesday. The hotel will happily assist with arranging alternative places to eat on these days.

Please note: The treatment rooms are closed on Monday from 2pm and all day Tuesday. Guests are welcome to book in an early treatment and arrive before 2pm on the Monday, or you may wish to have a treatment on the Wednesday, with no rush to check out.
