Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve and Howletts Wild Animal Park are different from conventional zoos, the focus being on providing as natural an environment as possible for the animals, to facilitate successful breeding programmes. The Aspinall Foundation is a charity that relies on support from the general public to fund its back to the wild programme, and vital animal protection projects in Africa, Madagascar and Java, as well as other projects around the world that are protecting some of the world's most endangered species.

If you're looking for an unusual and completely magical getaway for the whole family to enjoy, look no further than the Forest Hideaway at Port Lympne 4*! Located within the Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, this incredible area is comprised of cosy forest huts surrounded by towering pine trees.

Nestled nearby the tigers, lions and painted dogs, you will be just steps away from these magical creatures. Once you've met your neighbours, set out to explore the rest of the reserve and see gorillas, bears, cheetah, giraffe and many, many more. As a part of your stay here, you will have exclusive access to areas of the reserve before and after regular visitor hours, with your own personal golf buggy on which to explore!

Forest Hideaway

The name of the accommodation truly says it all - hidden away in the forest, these cosy wooded dens boast a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed, with room to sleep two adults and two children under 8 years old.

Immersed in the surrounding pine woods but with all modern comforts, this accommodation features heating to keep you warm in colder months. It also features a log burner, an en-suite shower room complete with bath amenities, and modern conveniences such as a Smart TV, fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities.

There are also plenty of lavish options for evening dinners, including Babydoll's Wood Fired Pizza for authentic Italian cuisine, Bear Lodge for meals cooked on a Mongolian grill, or the luxurious Port Lympne Hotel Restaurant and Bar for a lavish meal designed and cooked by the hotel's executive chef.
