Ely's marshland and waters once contained many eels which were part of the local staple diet. Visitors can still sample smoked eel at Ely's award-winning Farmers Market. Employees at Poet's House will be happy to assist with unloading your luggage before you park your vehicle. Access to the barrier together with clear directions will be available for collection at the reception. They also offer a valet parking service at a charge of only £15.
There is a number of free to use public car parks only a few moments walk from the hotel. Parking Restrictions do apply, although all parking is free without restrictions on Sundays.
