At the turn of the millennium Siem Reap was a Cambodian provincial town with few facilities, minor surfaced roads and little in the way of nightlife. Now it is a major tourist hub due to its proximity to the world famous temples of Angkor (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Your Itinerary —

Day 1: Phnom Penh - Arrival Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, welcomed by guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center to check in (Hotel check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in is not included). Relax after a long journey. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 2: Phnom Penh - Killing Fields (B)
After breakfast, you will visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, Preahkeo Morokot, National Museum, Wat Phnom and Wat Ounalom. Lunch will be at your own expense. In the afternoon, you will visit Toul Sleng, also called Prison S21 and Killing Field, 17 kilometer south of Phnom Penh. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 3: Phnom Penh - fly to Siem Reap (B) - K6 101 - 1130/1210
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, you're met by our guide and check in your hotel. Be free for the remainder of the day. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap - Angkor Complex (B)
After breakfast, you will start to explore Angkor complex with:
Banteay Srei: nearly everyone’s favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of its decorative carving Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer. We continue to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers. Ta Prohm was built in the 12th century. It’s a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of King Jayavarman VII.
Pre Rup temple was built in the 10th century during the reign of King Rajendravarman II. Evening is your free time for walking at busy pub street. Pop up at a bar for cool drink or shopping at Angkor Night Market. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 5: Siem Reap - Angkor Wat - Angkor Thom (B)
Today, wake up early to observe sunrise over Angkor temples with our guide. Return to your hotel for breakfast an then start a very special and busy day as you will explore some of Angkor’s most beautiful temples. You will visit the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourist.
The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)
See the South Gate, Bayon Temple- unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Baphuon Temple: lying just to the north of Bayon, a pyramidal representation of mythical Mont Meru, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
In the afternoon, you will visit the famous temple: Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site since 1992, famous for its beauty and splendor. Angkor Wat features the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, which runs along the outer gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology.. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 6: Siem Reap - Sihanouk Ville (B) - K6 131 - 1425/1525
Today, you will be free in the morning until check our time. 12:45 - meet our guide and proceed to the airport for a flight to Sihanouk Ville. Upon arrival, meet our driver and check in your hotel. Overnight in Sihanouk Ville.
Day 7 to day 11: Sihanouk Ville - free (B)
Five free days in Sihanouk Ville to do whatever takes your fancy!
Day 12: Sihanouk Ville - Phnom Penh - Departure (B)
You will be free today in Sihanouk Ville until meet our driver and travel by road (4.5-5 hours drive) back to Phnom Penh in a good time to connect to your departure flight.
