Your Itinerary —

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Negombo
Upon arrival at Colombo Airport, you will be welcomed by your driver and transferred to Negombo. Here, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel. 

Day 2: Negombo - Pinnawala - Kandy
Leave the coast towards Kandy after breakfast. Enjoy the landscapes as you drive, rich in lush vegetation. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled while driving as Sri Lanka's roads are full of surprises! On the way, you will have a stop at Pinnawala to see the Elephant Orphanage. Transfer to Kandy after lunch for the visit of the Batik Factory and the Gem Museum. You will then wander around the local market and finish your days sightseeing with the famous Kandy Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. At the end of the day, you will attend a traditional Sri Lankan dancing show. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Kandy
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and proceeding to Peradeniya afterwards to enjoy the visit of a spectacular Royal botanical garden (optional visit) or if you prefer you can visit Nuwara Eliya to visit the plantation and the tea manufacture (optional visit). After returning to Kandy you will have free time for a lovely promenade around the lake. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Kandy - Matale - Dambulla
After breakfast, head for Matale to explore the spice gardens where you can discover various aroma herbs and spices used in Sri Lankan cuisine as well as in home-made medicines! Then, take pleasure in a moment of relaxation during a special head and shoulder massage and enjoy your lunch. Your day will continue with a visit of the Dambulla Cave Temple, known for its magnificent carved rock images. Admire this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site with its truly unique paintings then enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Dambulla.
Day 5: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Habarana - Dambulla
Indulge in breakfast at the hotel before going to Sigiriya to visit the famous Lion Rock Fortress. After climbing to the top of the fortress, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the forests and nearby villages as well as explore the ruins left from the period of Sigiriya’s glory.

Discover the Sri Lankan countryside in the afternoon with a visit to a local village and a tuk-tuk ride! Make the most of this time sharing the everyday day life with Sri Lankan townsfolk and taste some typical Sri Lankan dishes. 

The Minneriya National Park, located between Habarana et Polonnaruwa, extends on 8890 hectares and boasts a very rich variety of fauna and flora with over 100 species of animals some of which are elephants and leopards. During the dry season the reservoir, which was constructed in the 3rd century, becomes the ideal spot to observe the wild life in its natural habitat. End the day with a safari in a 4x4 to observe the wild elephants in a reservation in the region. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Dambulla / Maldives
Breakfast at the hotel and then leave towards the airport for your flight to the Maldives. Upon arrival, you will take a transfer by speed boat to your hotel. Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 7 – 9: Maldives
Enjoy this paradisiac island on an All Inclusive board basis and take advantage of the beauty of beaches! Dinner and night at the hotel.

Day 10: Departure 
Enjoy a last breakfast and then transfer to the airport of Male by speed boat for your return flight

Entry Requirements 


You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


You will need a visa to enter Sri Lanka. You can get a short stay visa online at Electronic Travel Authority (ETA). Tourist visas are normally issued for a maximum period of 30 days. Although it’s still possible to get a tourist visa on arrival, it’s better to get one before you travel. 


Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry to Sri Lanka. 


Health 


Visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip to check whether you need any vaccinations or other preventive measures. 


All regions of Sri Lanka experience outbreaks of the mosquito-borne dengue fever. The Epidemiological Unit of the Ministry of Health issued a public message on 1 May 2018. You should take steps to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. 


Please note that passport, visa and health requirements can change. It is every traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, any required visas, and all the necessary vaccinations/health requirements as well as adequate insurance.
