Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, Sixt car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability and Sixt office opening times upon your arrival). Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). Roughly spanning 150 km of coastline between the towns of Almuñécar and Estepona on Spain’s southern coast, the Costa del Sol is an enduringly popular choice for a sun-soaked holiday, whether you’re looking to explore the region’s award-winning golf courses, relax on a beautiful sandy beach, or discover exciting nightlife.
The region’s beating heart is the city of Málaga, a destination that's famed for its trendy bars and nightclubs, but also, for housing a unique cultural heritage dating back to 770 BC. Make sure to spend time exploring sights such as the Museo Picasso (the surrealist artist was born in the city) and the Alcazaba, a palatial fortification built in the early 11th century. Just outside Málaga in Torremolinos, Aqualand is the largest water park on the Costa del Sol and is the perfect place for a family day out, while couples will enjoy exploring glamorous Marbella, home to elegant shops and a picturesque old town.
