5-Night Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival - Malaga - Granada
Fly to Malaga, pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to Granada. Granada is strongly rooted in its Moorish past and offers the best of Mudejar architecture. Picturesque and flowery, the city invites you to stroll through the steep and narrow streets of the old Albaicin and in the cave foothills of the Sacromonte.

Day 2: Granada - Cordoba
In Granada, don't miss visiting the Alhambra Palace and the Generalife Gardens, the Cathedral and the Sacromonte district. Then drive through the charming village of Jaen to Cordoba. Use the evening to stroll through the narrow streets of the city. Walk along the Guadalquivir quay at sunset and admire the beautiful view of the Mezquita.

Day 3: Cordoba - Seville
Discover the magnificent Mezquita, a former mosque turned into a cathedral, and the Juderia, the Jewish quarter, and its synagogue. Stroll through the Santa Cruz neighborhood, where many "tablaos" offer traditional flamenco dancing evenings.

Day 7: Seville - White Villages - Cadiz Region
Scattered at the foot of the mountains in the regions of Cadiz and Malaga, the "Pueblos Blancos" or white villages are a great stopover on any Andalusia trip. They get their name from an ancient custom of whitewashing houses and decorating them with colourful flower pots. Several routes allow you to travel through these charming typical villages: from Arcos de la Frontera to Bornos with its sulphur springs, Villamartín, Algodonales, the spectacular site of Zahara de la Sierra, Olvera and its Alcazar de la Almedina, Setenil de las Bodegas, Grazalema, El Bosque...

Malaga
The beating heart of the Costa del Sol, the historic city of Málaga was founded in 770 BC by the Phoenicians, and in the ensuing three centuries has grown to a lively city known for its art, culture, and lively bar scene. By day, explore the impressive array of architecture, galleries, and museums; then, as night falls watch the sunset with a chilled beer at one of the many chiringuitos (beach bars) on the coast’s famed coastline - Málaga has it all!
The city’s most famous resident is Picasso, and Málaga contains plenty of sights related to the artist including the Museo Picasso Málaga - which contains 285 works - and the Museo Casa Natal, Picasso’s birthplace. Nearby, travellers will find plenty more historic sights including the Alcazaba, an 11th-century Arabian fort, and the Gibralfaro Castle - the perfect spot to admire the city from above. To escape the inner-city, thrillseekers can drive an hour into the surrounding valley to El Caminito del Rey (The King’s Little Path), a daredevil hike along the steep walls of a narrow gorge.
On par with Málaga’s cultural exploits is its reputation as a hub of nightlife and activity. Among the maze of streets near the city’s port, travellers will find a number of lively tapas restaurants and bars - make sure to try a typical Andalusian paella, washing it down with an authentic sweet Málaga wine.
