Your Destination —
The magnificent Mezquita, a symbol of worldly and sophisticated Islamic culture, and the streets of the Judería (Jewish quarter), boasting a beautiful mosque, are sights to see. The compact town centre has a more vibrant vibe as it is home to excellent bars and restaurants, while the Islamic ruin of Medinat al-Zahra stirs the imagination with its splendour and opulence.
Members can opt for car hire which enables you to discover small Andalusian villages and other Spanish towns including Seville, which is an hour and a half away, or Granada, which is a two-hour drive. Those who do not want to drive can also visit Seville by travelling 45 minutes on the train.
