Ponta Delgada —

Ponta Delgada is the capital of the São Miguel island and one of the most important cities in the Azores.

 

Located in a large bay, Ponta Delgada has a beautiful old town with cobblestone streets and a very interesting architectural heritage of elegant buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries, as well as beautiful monuments.

 

It is a lively city during the day and at night too! Its historic centre and marina attract visitors seeking dinner and drinks in its many delicious restaurants.

 

All this makes Ponta Delgada the perfect destination to explore the island of São Miguel.
