Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel (Day 1)
Day 1
Your transfer is included from Alta Airport to Sorrisniva.
Chill-out in the largest ice hotel in Norway and the northernmost of its kind in the world. The structure, furniture, and art are crafted each year by local sculptors using natural ice and snow. With only 30 rooms, an ice bar, a sculpture gallery and a beautifully decorated chapel, this truly is an exclusive experience to strike off your bucket list. The temperature inside the igloo remains constant (between 4 and 7°C), but the comfortable reindeer skins, mattresses and sleeping bags will keep you warm all night - although it is always recommended to wear thermal clothing to bed!
Your night at the Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel includes a sleeping bag (down to -25°C) and pillow, towels, coffee, tea and water, internet access and access to the sauna the next morning (towels included, access from 7am to 10am).
Overnight in an Ice Room at Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel (only from 20th December, stays prior to this date will have 2 nights in a Wilderness Lodge River Room instead)

Hunting the Northern Lights (Day 1)
Wrap up warm and venture out on a guided tour on your first day, Hunting the Northern Lights.
Experience the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join an expert guide and be driven along the coast or inland chasing the best location to view the majestic Aurora Borealis. Your guide will select the route which offers the best chance of viewing the spectacle, given the prevailing weather and atmospheric conditions. Let your guide lead you on a journey as they explain this fascinating natural phenomenon and the history of Alta.
Make sure to bring along your camera, as your guide will also help with the settings required to capture the lights with the best results.
Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge (Day 2)
Day 2
Wake up in the unique setting of your Ice Room and find your way to breakfast to fuel up for a thrilling day ahead!
Tonight you will stay in the new 24-room Arctic Wilderness Lodge, built on the banks of the famed Alta river. Settle into your premium accommodation, soak up the panoramic views, breathtaking architecture, and the cosy atmosphere of this stylish hotel. Your River Room will be your idyllic retreat and features a private balcony.

Activities: Snowmobile tour for 2 people from 1/12/21 (thermal clothing included)

Arctic Light Snowmobiling Safari (Day 2)
Jump onto your included Arctic Light Snowmobiling Safari!
Drive your own snowmobile through the wilderness of the Alta river valley up to the inland plateau. During the winter months the Arctic light often creates wonderful colours on the horizon despite the sun never rising. Later in the Spring the sun returns, creating its own special light effects on the wide snowfields of the inland plateau.
This safari offers a combination of exhilarating snowmobiling with experiencing the Arctic wilderness and the special Arctic light conditions. Your guide will provide you with your thermal suit, boots, gloves and helmet as well as instructing you in the safe operation of your snowmobile.
Please note: this inclusion is not available 1st-30th November and a valid drivers licence is required to operate a snowmobile.
Scandic Alta Hotel (Day 3-6)
Day 3-6
Head to the town of Alta and check-in to the Scandic Alta Hotel (your transfer is included). You will be accommodated in a Standard Room with breakfast served daily. Depending on the package selected, you will spend 1-3 days at leisure exploring this fascinating region.
Overnight in a Standard Room at Scandic Alta Hotel.
For Offer 2: you will stay one night in Oslo at the beginning and end of your trip at Clarion Hotel The Hub 4* (or similar) in a Standard Room with breakfast included. Your return domestic flights from Oslo to Alta are included in the offer, however, transfers from and to the airport in Oslo are not included.
Please note: for both Offer 1 and Offer 2, you must find your own way from Scandic Alta Hotel to Alta Airport as this transfer is not included.
