Day 1-3
Kathmandu is the capital and largest city of Nepal, situated high up in a valley in the central part of the country. Over the centuries, it has been an important centre of trade and culture in the region and has been ruled by various dynasties and empires. Today, Kathmandu is a hub for trekking, and a base to explore the Himalayas.

Day 2: Kathmandu
Patan is one of three ancient cities, along with Kathmandu and Bhaktapur, and is known for its rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture, and traditional crafts.
Swoyambhunath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site believed to have been established more than 2500 years ago. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in parts of the temple in the North West.

Day 3: Kathmandu - Pokhara
Pokhara is situated in the foothills of the Himalayas and is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountains. The city is also home to the spectacular Phewa Lake, which offers stunning views of the mountains and is a popular spot for boating and fishing.

There is currently a road expansion between Mugling and Pokhara (approx. 80km) slowing traffic. The road is often bumpy and there can be severe delays.
Day 4: Pokhara
One of the main attractions in Pokhara is trekking and hiking. The city is the gateway to the Annapurna region, which is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal.

Day 6: Phewa Lake - Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National Park is an impressive World Heritage Site known for its extraordinary biodiversity and is characterized by lush forests, grasslands, rich floodplains, rolling hills, beautiful rivers, and oxbow lakes.
The park is one of Nepal’s most celebrated nature reserves as it serves as one of the world’s last refuges of the Bengal tiger and the one-horned Asiatic rhinoceros. There are also deer, monkeys, leopards, Indian elephants, crocodiles, sloth bears, and over 500 species of bird!

Day 7-9
Chitwan National Park is a protected area located in the southern part of Nepal, covering an area of 932 sq km! One of the main attractions in Chitwan National Park is a jungle safari, with plenty of opportunities to spot resident wildlife.
