With a privileged position along the Bay of Kotor, the Iberostar Herceg Novi 4* is a charming hotel overlooking the region's crystalline waters. Located across the bay from the historic city of Herceg Novi,this hotel offers guests plenty of things to do from sightseeing to outdoor adventure.

 

There is a large outdoor swimming pool with a glorious terrace overlooking the sea and surrounding mountains. Guests will also have direct access to the beach, a fitness centre, and a daily programme of activities to choose from. Perfect for families, the hotel also boasts a brilliant children's club with a programme of activities and events. 

 

For an additional fee, guests can relax at the onsite sauna or indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment. When it comes to dining, this hotel boasts gourmet Mediterranean cuisine, a poolside bar, lobby bar, and chic rooftop bar. This hotel also features exercise classes, tourist information, luggage storage, and a 24 hour reception desk.

For more than 60 years, we operate according to the strictest standards and now , in COVID period, we strengthen and enrich our procedures and protocols in a holistic vision and with scientific rigor, while continuing to take care of the environment . Today more than ever, it is imperative for responsible tourism to take care of people and the environment and to create a healthy environment. We are determined to do everything possible to take care of our employees and our customers.

And we do it in a unique way, by cooperating with scientists , in order to guarantee safe sanitary conditions without renouncing the policy of circularity that we instigated with the Wave of Change movement , dedicated to the protection of the environment and the oceans . To do this, we have integrated a medical advisory committee , made up of biologists and doctors specializing in public health in tourism. The experts who make up the new team are Sebastián Crespí Rotger , founder and president of the consultancy firm Biolinea Internacional and Dr Javier Pérez Fernández, an intensive care specialist and medical director at the best hospitals in Miami (USA). By following their recommendations and those of public authorities and health establishments, we have developed measures to protect our employees and guarantee the customer experience , with the implementation of new procedures in restaurants or at check-ins, wearing recyclable masks made from recycled materials, or applying measures that encourage frequent hand washing rather than the use of plastic gloves.

 

All of these measures strictly comply with the circularity policies to which the Iberostar Group has committed itself in order to promote a more resilient ecosystem , by eliminating single-use plastics and by using products that minimize the impact on the environment. The new disinfection and sanitation protocols planned to deal with COVID-19 have been verified by SGS , an international leader in inspection, verification, analysis and certification.

You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 

If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Montenegro. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Foreign Ministry and if necessary, confirm with the Montenegrin Embassy.

There is a reciprocal healthcare agreement for British nationals visiting Montenegro, which entitles you to free treatment for genuine emergencies. In order to exercise this right, you should present a British passport and some evidence of being insured in the UK to the office of the Health Fund of Montenegro and obtain a certificate. 

If vaccinations or other preventive measures are required, you will need to visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip. In the event that you are referred to a medical facility for treatment, you should contact your insurance/medical assistance company immediately. 

Please note that passport, visa and health requirements can change. It is every traveller’s responsibility to ensure they have a valid passport, any required visas, and all the necessary vaccinations/health requirements as well as adequate insurance.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)
