Days 1-3: Delhi - Mandawa
Days 1 & 2: Delhi
- Enjoy Day 1 at leisure, after your journey.
- Spend Day 2 visiting Delhi, old and new. In the heart of Old Dehli you'll see the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.
- Visit The Red Fort, the Jama Masjid one of the largest mosques in the world and the Chandni Chowkshopping district.
- In New Delhi, you'll visit the Qutub minar, an extraordinary minaret built of red sandstone in 1199, containing verses from the Koran

Day 3: Delhi - Mandawa
Mandawa is a small principality surrounded by sand dunes that lived through a period of great splendour between the middle of the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Today, this small town still retains its cachet, thanks to its quite extraordinary 'Havelis'. These residences were built by wealthy merchants whose elaborate architecture gives the appearance of small palaces rather than simple houses. Their walls are decorated with beautiful frescoes of various decorative motifs.

Days 4-5: Jodhpur & Jaipur
Day 4: Jodhpur
Jodhpur is affectionately referred to as 'the blue city', thanks to the very particular colour of the facades of its houses. This city sits nestled in the heart of the desert, at the foot of a fortres. It makes a comforting oasis for travellers. The old town is surrounded by an immense wall pierced with seven gates, erected around the middle of the 16th century to protect it from the sand.
- Explore the city of Jodphur.
- Visit the magnificent Fort Mehrangarh, which boasts an amazing collection of elaborate royal cradles.

Day 5: Jodhpur - Jaipur
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then take the road for around 340 km (6h30) to head to Jaipur (the pink city among the Rajputs, the pink colour symbolises hospitality), the capital of Rajasthan.
- You can either relax for the rest of the day or visit the capital. It is surrounded by an immense wall. Inside, you will find its bazaars buzzing with a thousand activities, its sumptuous temples...

Day 6-7: Jaipur & Agra
Day 7: Jaipur
- Set off to explore beautiful Jaipur, stopping in front of the Palace of the Wind, the 'Hawa Mahal'. With its elaborate baroque facade, it allowed the women of the court to contemplate the spectacle of the street away from prying eyes.
- Enjoy an excursion to Amber Fort, the residence of the Maharajahs, with an ascent to the ramparts in a 4x4.
- Attend puja at the Kali Temple. The Puja is theact of worship, according to Hindu rites. Please note: The temple must be entered barefoot, and without any leather goods (forbidden).

Visit 'Jantar Mantar', the astronomical observatory which bears witness to the passions of theMaharaja Jaisingh II. He had several observatories built, including that of Jaipur (1728-33). These monumental instruments make it possible to read the latitudes, longitudes and distances between celestial bodies, the time corresponding to the meridian of Jaipur.

Day 7: Agra
- En route to Agra, you'll make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the former capital of the time of Mughal Emperor Akbar and spectacular for its melange of architectural styles. This capital was abandoned just a few years after its construction, resulting in the mixing of Indo-Muslim and Hindu styles.
- Visit the Great Mosque, with the tomb of Sheikh Salim Chishti and the Jewel House (also named Diwan-I-Khas, or Hall of Audiences) which is believed to contain Akbar's pillar.
- Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel and relax or visit the Agra Fort.

Days 8-9: Agra - New Delhi
Day 8: Agra
The Taj Mahal has become the tourist emblem of India. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The construction of the Taj Mahal was undertaken the same year and was not completed until 1653. Some 20,000 artisans and workers, were recruited from all over India as well as from Central Asia for the construction of this stunning palace.
- Visit the Taj Mahal (please note that it is closed on Fridays).
- Transfer to New Delhi (125 miles / +/- 4h30 drive time).
- Upon arrival, enjoy some time at leisure.

Thila Bar is one of the best places to watch the sunset and offers international wines as well as cocktails and juices - the ideal place to come and enjoy a drink amongst friends or family.
